A beautiful hotel situated in the mountains near the Yunnan snubbed nose monkey centre. The staff were wonderful, really helpful with some small travel problems that we had. They were kind and attentive, yet discreet. Rooms were beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we also were served afternoon tea with fruit and fresh biscuits and snacks. We also enjoyed our dinner here. Very recommended!

It is rare to have a homestay with such a strong design in Weixi, which is like staying a few more days, but the itinerary is difficult to change. Before coming, I made a guide and knew that the Songzan Hotel opposite organized folk experience activities. I asked the boss of Yulin where there were such activities. I didn’t expect that the B&B had them. This time we chose to visit the Naxi people, put on Naxi ethnic costumes, learn to grind tofu, make rice cakes, pick strawberries (strawberries are super sweet, especially small and red ones), and grind beans to make tofu brain and soy milk. The soy milk ground by the traditional method is fragrant! I also tasted a sumptuous farmhouse dish! I heard that the B&B will also have activities to pick mushrooms in the primeval forest in June and July. Friends like this kind of experiential activity very much. When I arrived in Lijiang, I rented a car directly at the train station and went to Deqin. I saw the snow-capped mountains and came to Tacheng. I probably looked at it before. It was more convenient to live in a cabin. It was also booked to save the cost of the battery car. I found out about 5 pm, because of the epidemic + the off-season at the end of the year. I lived alone that night. I received Xiaoyu, the cabin staff member, who opened a room for me. I consulted her about the route tomorrow. She told me that the monkey viewing point in the past few days is very close to the cabin. It is very convenient to walk along the road for ten minutes. After that, I turned around nearby. It was cold at night and the surroundings were very quiet. I turned on the electric heater in the cabin. The whole room looked very warm. I took a hot bath and lay on the bed. I listened to the sound of the thin running water outside. The body has never been relaxed. This feeling is simply not too good! Maybe I am too tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is the most comfortable place I have ever lived in. I usually sleep poorly outside and I recognize the bed, but I fell asleep here without knowing it. I woke up naturally the next morning and washed up. Pack up and go to the restaurant. Xiaoyu cooked a large bowl of noodles for me, there are meat foam and an omelette inside, the taste is quite good, after eating, I walked to the monkey point, waited for a while before a few battery cars came, the tourists are estimated to be 20 people that day, I made up the ticket to the staff, about 9 o'clock, After a few whistles from the rangers, the golden monkeys went down the mountain to eat one after another. They were very cute, but I personally felt that although this monkey viewing point is close to the place where I live, the location is not too good. The golden monkey is too far away, and there are too many branches. It is not very good to take photos. Fortunately, there were a few trees that ran to the tree very close to the tourists to eat. I only took a few relatively clear photos. At 10:30, the golden monkey returned to the mountain after eating. The tourists also walked one after another. I was alone. I stood there quietly and wanted to see them a few more eyes. Later, I met two rangers and chatted with them casually. After that, I walked back to the cabin and drove back to Lijiang. I felt that the time of the day was still not enough. I liked the golden monkey and the cabin very much. I hope I will have a chance to come again in the future.
