The resort is very pretty and big, it has plenty of activities to do, and plenty of restaurants going from American to Italian, but bring some money a lot of the things cost and the food can be a little costly, but the food is good. If you plan to visit in christmas time it's worth a try seeing the christmas market but don't go ice scatting unless you bring your own skates, the ice skates that they give out are very dull and you just slip on the ice, now it's not all bad the hot drinks are very nice and worth a try!

In general we enjoyed our stay but it is a shame that it is ruined due to many mixed factors. For example, there is a great variation in the service one receives from the staff. Some are very service-minded and smiling. Others look at you sourly and continue speaking German (even quickly) even though you have informed them that you do not understand German. Another thing is that it is stated on the website that smoking is not allowed in the apartments or on the balcony. However, smoking occurs in all the apartments. This was clearly visible from the outside and noticeable when you couldn't keep the balcony door open without getting cigarette smoke inside. And when you try to make people aware of this, they just continue. We had a little baby with us that had trouble sleeping because of it. There is no signage or anything else indicating that smoking is not allowed, so I can understand that some guests are unsure. But that is no excuse, how can it be family friendly when there is so much smoking and no consequences. However, several of the shared facilities, such as the swimming area and climbing course, are very nice. But the issue with smoking is a significant factor in why we are unlikely to return.

The good stuff Kids love this place. There is something for all ages and the water park is fresh and good quality. Several slides for all ages. Our kids are 4 and 7. The bad stuff Only thing is service is not the way it suppose to be at Grandmas rude, in water park rude and Osteria. To many people working that doesnt like the job. The hotel is quite expensive for the Quality of the rooms compared to Centre Parcs for example Het Meerdal where also waterland is included in the room rate. End with good stuff again We would like to go back. Huge plus for good parking facilities, can charge the car easy and also close to everything by foot.

Is it a 4 star hotel? I don't really know how they give out the stars, so maybe it is. However, the service was not. Our sink was broken in the room, so the drain water ran out under the sink down to the floor. It took them two days ro fix it. That was very unsatisfying. The room was quite big with a nice balcony. The room was to the north so we had the sun on our balcony most of the day, which was nice. However, the room had no air condition, so it was very warm in the evening. The breakfast buffet was very good with a huge selection that changed every day. The dinner buffet / 3 dish menu were not as good, but it was okay to the price. The hotel also has a swimming and spa area, which were also very good. Overall a good experince.

We received a very unfriendly welcome. We were rudely informed that there was no room cleaning, but that if you absolutely needed it you could request it 24 hours in advance. The condition of the rooms has already been described in many comments. The rooms are in a very poor condition, and we can only agree. The carpet was faded and stained. In the bathroom there was dust under the heater and in the corners, the shower and sink were calcified, and the soap dispensers were leaking. The service at the hotel bar was very inconsistent. When the restaurant manager was on duty at the bar, there was nice, professional service, otherwise not. The restaurant was a completely different world, with friendly staff and very good service. The selection at the breakfast and evening buffet was very varied and delicious.
