The hotel is some distance from the pier, and on the hillside, I mistakenly follow the navigation to show the luggage for 6 minutes, and I am very tired. We visited the family hotel for the second time. Now in the new section ”Gade” to German ”Stall” where the restaurant is also located with two areas on the ground floor. Beside where the ”old” Friedheim was, and we had booked a room a year ago, the rooms have come somewhat into the years but also absolutely priced for it. We have chosen this year for a room in the street. Even there are the prices of modern rooms still very moderate. Eating under the direction of Freddy Zimmermann is a poem . Creativity and passion are to feel, see and taste on every table. The service staff is humorous but always competent and professional. All in the eye has always Madeleine Zimmermann. Your acting presence gives the house the family flair. You simply feel well. Starting the morning with such a rich breakfast buffet in the day is wonderful. The dreamy view of the four-wooden stalker lake is still up.

The check-in process is too uncomfortable... In the domestic prepayment, it is used in US dollars (usually other hotels choose Swiss Franc deduction), and is much higher than the real-time RMB dollar exchange price deduction (Ctrip finally solves). At the hotel, it was arranged to stay at another hotel (called central hotel), and the room did not have a balcony, and there was a little lake view at the window. Since I have lived in Australia for a long time, the English is acceptable, and finally I have obtained the hotel and room type I have booked. During the communication with the two front desks, the first front desk lady lost contact after agreeing to change the order to the hotel. The second front desk man appeared after I repeatedly rushed out, and the attitude was bad. Finally, I said ”OK...alright...dont Talk...stop...” gave me the key, I got the hotel room for the order. Arrive in Zurich at 1pm and go straight to this hotel instead of staying in Lucerne. I went to see the morning at Mt. Rigi and I was lucky to watch the sunrise. It takes about an hour, so you have to go relaxed. (No train in the morning). The room itself is really motel level and the rest of the spa is excellent. Luxury spa feeling. Room prices are so expensive that there are plenty of empty rooms in high season. It feels like an Asian who gave a bad view (I don't have a few views in this direction) Breakfast table outside the window Others view towards the mountain side. btw Rigi Mountain View runs out of hotel prices. Excellent breakfast Please go watch the sunrise. It was amazing because there were no people on the way. Ascending, it's already there. Most impressive during a 7 day trip to Switzerland

Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer) with dining table. Bath/WC. 2 balconies. Beautiful view of the lake, the mountains and the resort. Facilities: Internet (WiFi, free). Reserved parking at the house. Please note: non-smokers only.

Comfortable apartment house "Seeblick", 5 storeys. In the resort, in a central, sunny position, 50 m from the lake. In the house: lift, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). Motor access to the house. Communal covered parking at the house, public parking 200 m extra. Grocery, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 100 m, bus stop, 50 m. Cable car 2 km, ski lift 5 km, slopes 5 km, ski school 5 km, cross country ski track 5 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Vierwaldstättersee. Hiking paths: Rigi. "Apartment 10", 3-room apartment 97 m2 on 2nd floor. Practical and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace and cable TV (flat screen). Exit to the balcony. 1 double bedroom. 1 room with 2 beds. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave). Shower/WC. Balcony 9 m2. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of the lake, the mountains, the countryside and the resort. I have stayed in dozens of Swiss hotels for over 60 years and found the Alexander pleasant but somewhat lacking. The Hasler family were charming. After a long journey, it was disappointing to find all 4 adults complain about a bad first night’s sleep and something as simple as the pillows being to blame. Despite the hotel having a pillow menu with options such as pine shavings, horse hair, sheep hair, millet seed and bees wax but nothing as mundane as foam, we decided to go and purchase 4 pillows at the Coop in Luzern! This did not make a great first impression and nor did the attitude of the receptionist with whom we discussed the issue who said it was up to us. As we couldn’t take the pillows home at the end, we gifted them in pristine condition to the hotel for the benefit of future guests - so please ask! This hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Lucerne). The rooms are a little tired. The staff are mostly very pleasant and helpful but sadly not terribly efficient. Self service breakfast is an extensive buffet with little to criticise except that dishes of fruit and scrambled egg were not replenished quickly. The 3 course evening meal was tedious in terms of awaiting service especially as we had a 4 year old in our party. We also found some strange food combinations and actually preferred the food at the sister hotel, the Gerbi. Even ordering A La Carte we found restrictive over the 10 day stay. The hotel offered a meat fondu and when we asked for that one evening we were told it couldn’t be done as our table was not near to an electric socket. The hotel charged for tap water (we also bought soft drinks, wine and spirits) which we found strange. Yet a tea and coffee facility was free on each floor - with free water! There were sometimes noisy building works taking place at the hotel commencing at 7am. The hotel pools and spa facilities were excellent. On days when the hotel had day conferences taking place it was very difficult to find a parking place! Spaces were reserved with plastic cones for delegates and I was asked to park further away below the hotel in a public car park.

Close to the lake, super tossing from Zurich airport, train and bus, it took about 2 hours to put it... a little tired~ I know that I will not be so tossed by boat in Lucerne, and the boat is still comfortable. ~ The room is quite big, but I think the door is not very good, I feel that the lock is easy to open, and I bring the anti-theft artifact. The day before yesterday, the staff will return to your question, but feel very impatient. One day, the cleaning staff cleaned the room during the day, put my pillows on the bed, and put my pajamas under the mattress. I found it for a long time, and I went to the front desk and said that my pajamas were gone. I was dissatisfied! ! !
