Have eaten in the restaurant many times in the past 7 years, although not the cleanest my choice of Finnish Salmon was always good, until my last visit! If I had been the ‘chef’ I would be looking for a new career. The spinach spread across the plate and was tasteless, the diced potatoes were just cooked, colourless and tasteless with the added bonus of the water used to boil them! The salmon was cooked but a colour I haven’t seen before! I would definitely not visit again, and very very expensive. Service slow.

We live about 30 minutes from here so we know the area and are familiar with the prices / service : food quality of restaurants in the area. We stopped for lunch and we were not impressed at all. Here’s why: - the food took about 40 minutes to arrive even though we were not there at peak lunch time - once the food did arrive it was clearly microwaved, as in it had been prepared, probably placed on the fridge and then microwaved (which really isn’t understandable considering how long it took) - the service in general was super slow - while not expensive by Swiss standards it certainly isn’t cheap, especially considering the food was clearly re-heated

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on our bike trip. The room was ok, everything was clean and with a nice view of the lake. The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Fast mass processing with red plastic cups. The edge was already scratched. The dishes were ok, but carelessly prepared. Breakfast was announced at 8 a.m. We were there 5 minutes early and asked if we could have breakfast outside. This has been approved of us. Tables weren't cleaned and we had to look for cutlery and a set ourselves. This is better organized in a youth hostel. Buffet ok, but again plastic bowls and the rims of the cups were chipped. Once and never again

bad. only bad. I had cold food, it didn't taste good. Canteen food tastes better there. Nähh, not recommended.. if only I had looked at the reviews earlier nh… never again, baba I swear never again. Just wanted to try.

A somewhat dated structure directly overlooking the lake, it is a charming hotel a little retro but not exactly comfortable given the lack of modernity of the rooms ... the bathroom needs to be modernized. still good for a short stop. The restaurant is good! And super friendly staff.

Ich war letzte Woche mit dem e-Mountainbike unterwegs und habe im Hotel Schwert in Weesen übernachtet. Der Self-Check-In ist etwas befremdend, wenn man das zum ersten Mal gebraucht, die Help-Line war aber sofort bereit mir dabei zu helfen. Das Zimmer war einfach aber sauber und entspricht den Erwartungen fuer den bezahlten Preis. Es wurde mir auch sehr freundlicherweise angeboten mein e-Bike ein einem separaten Raum aufzuladen ! Am Abend verpflegte ich mich noch im Restaurant. Das hingegen ist "outstanding" ! Offerierter Apéro, ein super Menue zu absoluten fairen Preisen haben mich auch in Sachen Qualität sehr überzeugt. Fuer Durchreisende kann ich diese Adresse nur empfehlen !

In 60 Jahren noch nie so etwas erlebt! Nach 20min immer noch keine Speisekarte, nicht mal eine Getränkebestellung. Wir haben dann die Speisekarte selbst am Tresen geholt. Für eine Bestellung mussten wir auf uns aufmerksam machen. 3 Vorspeisen fast zeitgleich mit 2 Hauptspeisen serviert. Weitere 3 Hauptspeisen erst auf ausdrückliche Nachfrage 30min später. Das leergegessene Geschirr wurde nicht abgeräumt, Kaffe musste selbst am Tresen bestellt werden. Als der Kaffe gebracht wurde stand das leer gegessene Geschirr immer noch nicht abgeräumt auf dem Tisch. Wo gibt es denn sowas? Es waren viele Touristen auf der Gartenterrasse. Offenbar DAS Zielpublikum. Das Essen selbst war ganz OK. Aber so eine Bewirtung ist das absolute Gegenteil des Begriffes. Auf ein Dessert hatten wir dann genervt verzichtet... Immerhin hatte es aus auf der rollstuhlgängigen Toilette einen Aschenbecher…?! Der eine klappbare Haltegriff ist auf der falschen Seite angebracht. Wenn der heruntergeklappt ist, ist der zwischen Rollstuhl und WC im Weg. An der Wand blättert der Putz ab, aber der Rest des sogenannten „Gasthauses" ist frisch renoviert. Es sollte möglich sein, ganz viele Minus-Sterne für diese Art sogenantes „Park-Hotell“ vergeben zu können!

Man kann ned schlafen. Musik lauft die ganz nach von eingang Bereich "Rezeption " Es ist so laut das man es im zimmer hört. Ich war bereits ein paar mal da. Leider bucht die Firma...ich wurde nie freiwillig da buchen will ich nicht schlafen kann.
