I remember when this hotel used to be the old one before they remodeled and new owners took over and I will say it is so much better. Very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay!

Lovely refurbished motel, clean, nice garden.
Only problem was there are no staff.
We had a question and received no answer from the remote staff.
As we come from another country and do not have data communication was difficult.

Very Clean & Convenient
What a great and convenient place to stay when in the Waynesboro area! A 1950's motel completely renovated but still has that nostalgic feel. Very clean and self check in was a breeze. Loved the little Pine Shop that had items for sale, amongst them bundles of wood for the multiple fire pits as well as smores kits! We will def be staying here next time we're in this area.

Great local option in an awesome location!
Overall, great option near the intersection of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. I’d stay again. We were there on a holiday weekend, and there were small things that would have been easier if there was someone onsite, for example they ran out of matches in the store and our room was missing a wine opener. But we were out enjoying the area for the most part, and it was a great central home base.

Unique, beautiful property. We loved it! The bed was great and the furnishings in the room were spare but perfect. It's in a gorgeous place and the grounds are so nice to spend time on. If we could change one thing, it would be the bright light outside our room. Please make it motion activated, or let us turn it off, or if you can't do either of those two things then give the rooms blackout shades. The room never got dark because of this bright light. But that's a small complaint, the hotel is great and we will be back!

Great motel! Comfortable bed, spacious and clean room, and hot shower!
Nice to have the free coffee in the morning and snacks/toiletries that are easy to buy if you need them.
Great trails all around and super close to the Blue Ridge Tunnel.

We had met up with some old friends in the area and wanted a place to stay that was convenient. Nice room, except we were unable to get the television to work. After several messages sent to the property manager, nothing was done. So we left early.

Very clean room. Easy checkin. Making a campfire was such fun! They had everything you need in the shop. Must try Happ coffee just a few minutes away. So delish! And you can walk across the street from the hotel and hike the train tunnel which was a blast. Very cool experience.
