We travelled to Great Trails Wayanad in the first week of march with our one year old. After a string of bad trips with a cranky toddler, it was daunting for us and we weren’t sure how it was going to go. But it ended up being one of the best stays we’ve ever had. From the moment we entered, the staff were all so courteous, on point with the check in and even made fast friends with my baby. Even if we were having a meal, and the baby was being fussy, they offered to carry him around and walk him so that we could finish up. The beautiful fish pond in the middle of the lobby was a beauty and they also taught him how to feed the fish and he loved it! There Is also a small play area with very nice toys and soft mats so that babies don’t get hurt - in short, they had thought of everything to make the stay perfect for us and the baby. They also immediately told us that if we needed anything for the baby, with food, we could just reach the chef right away and he would make it for us - and he did! We were so shocked - in a happy way because we have rarely had trips where people have been so accommodating of the baby’s diet and made so Much effort. At this point in our lives, we are happy as long as the baby is happy - so they managed that very well. So well that its going to hard for us to visit any other places, because they have set the standard very high! What a lovely place it was - really felt like family. Every time my son would come out of the room, there were a bunch of happy smiling faces looking forward to welcoming him. They also gave us good suggestions of what we can do with and without the baby in the city and it was ideal. If you’re in Wayanad - this is absolutely the best place to stay! Thank you Mr. Alex,Vipin, Jacob, Hari, Ramachandran and ALL of the others - we are very grateful for the lovely stay with you!
