Door een achterstandswijk heen gereden te hebben. Zien wij wat ergers Texas Inn. Wij zijn in shock want hier hebben wij geboekt. Aangekomen bij de receptie ontvangt ons een vage man die ons aankeek maar ook in zijn achterste broekzak keek. Hij zegt dat haar dochter er zo aankomt. Mevr staat ons te woord en bij betalen vraagt ze de pincode?? Heel vaag. Wij hebben maar contact betaald. Geen vertrouwen hier in want schimmen is zo gedaan natuurlijk. Na wat gemopper de sleutelkaart gekregen van de kamer. Toen wij de kamer betreden vlogen wij style achterover. Wat een geur. Hier hebben ze insectenverdelger gebruikt en niet te zuinig. De kamer oogt op een kringloopwinkel. Is wel schoon op het oog. Vel licht en geen sfeerverlichting. De tv deed het gelijk niet deze hebben wij moeten resetten. Na een tijdje hadden wij die weer aan de praat. Het is hier zo gehorig. De snelweg ligt er naast en is meer dan duidelijk te horen. Wij hebben in Texas waar wij geweest zijn nooit onveilig gevoeld behalve hier. Door de deur te blokkeren voelen wij ons iets veiliger. Maar dat is schijn met kartonnendeuren. De nacht ook vreselijk geslapen. Veel lawaai van de snelweg. Was er veelste warm. Airco aan was geen optie die maakte zoveel geluid als een opstijgende helikopter. Wij mogen van geluk spreken dat ze er geen ontbijt server daar. Hoe slecht zal dat wel dan niet zijn. Advies rij hier snel langs en toeter.
