Watford Hotels with Wi-Fi

Really nice and clean. Great beds. Plenty of room. Good shower. Perfect location. Polite staff. Value for money. Close to Warner Brothers and shopping centre. We only stayed a night and hardly touched down but it was great. I will always wonder why every hotel puts out just two teabags though 🤣

Staff really helpful & once again nothing is too much trouble for them. Food was really good. We ate dinner 2 nights , the steak was cooked really well. My son had fish n chips & he said ”it's the best fish he has had in ages” quite a compliment from a growing teenager! Not the biggest of hotels but plenty of space cause U have to book for dinner & guests r amply seated We didn't have the meal deal as we didn't want to be restricted to eating at the hotel. But in hindsight I would highly recommend the food 💯 . If U don't mind commuting into central London it's a cheaper alternative than staying in central London.

My line manager had booked the room for me as my IHG account wasn’t approved yet by my GM and I was greeted by Zahr if I spelt that right, I do apologise if I’ve spelt that wrong, he was very friendly, he did his job by trying to figure out if I was an employee of holiday inn, which he did his checks and my information had come back correct, I left earlier that night and come back and I was still greeted with a friendly welcome from him. It’s been a pleasure to stay with the holiday inn, my room was cleaned to perfection and I’ve had no issues, Zahr deserves to be employee of the month if that’s a thing here. We arrived late. Hotel called to check our arrival and explained to call before we arrived to be able to park on property. Staff were polite and helpful. Had to leave a £50 deposit, for additional charges, will refund what is not used. Just no details about thus on booking.

This hotel is right next to Watford Junction station - an easy walk round the corner. (Check on google maps and take the short cut rather than walk along main road). The hotel seems clean and modern. It is obviously very popular with people visiting WB studios (which is what we were doing). Stayed in a family room set up for 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 4). The beds for the children are the usual budget hotel foldaway types and not very sturdy but fine for one night. The room was generally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with a moderate selection (not as wide a selection as Premier Inn but fine for fueling up before heading off to WB). The WB shuttle bus goes from outside the station so a 3 min walk back to the bus stop. Overall a perfectly adequate and well located budget option for WB stay. We came on the train from across London. If we had come in the car I would have chosen something outside of the town centre. If you are travelling with kids and hoping to eat out in the evening after you get here (which we didn't) then you've got a bit of a walk back to the main part of town with the shopping centre and chain restaurants. The only annoying thing about the stay was the noise at night - and it had nothing to do with the railway! We were woken up by talking and doors banging in the corridor a couple of times. Whether or not it was because our room had a connecting door to another room I don't know but someone's alarm went off at 4.45am and it sounded like it was in our room. Whichever poor person had such an early start on a Friday then proceeded to get showered and dressed in a rather loud fashion and felt the need to constantly talk loudly to the rest of the people in that room. That's not the hotel's fault of course but bear in mind this is a budget hotel and the sound proofing is minimal.

Spacious room Upstairs on holiday inn The two hotels share elevators, parking lots, etc. You can cook your own food. There are several large supermarkets within a ten-minute walk around. It is convenient to buy food and come back to cook. The extra bed in the triple room was uncomfortable. The train station is 200 meters away, and the shuttle bus to the Harry Potter studio is sitting there.
