Watford (Croxley Green)

The location is not very good, not close to the tube.

Excellent place 👌 👏 👍.

Staff very freindly and willing to go the extra to help out. Beds and pillows super comfy. Space under beds super idea. Hotel generally clean and tidy. Room perfect size. Also as its slightly out of town ( 15min walk to Watford town centre) much quieter.

I booked a friend in for one night and everything was ok however on her departure she decided to help cleaners by pulling the bed items off to help cleaners when they went in there and found a blood stained mattress topper. She informed reception and also I spoke to their customer services on WhatsApp and also Whitbread the owners who disgustingly said that she should have informed them on arrival? What customer would honestly check all of the room out including taking all bed linen and pillows and duvet and sheets off to find this issue and not impressed with their no refund attitude due to sleeping in room!!!!! I know she wont be using Premier Inn again and I dont think I will bother anymore!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!!!

I used to use this hotel alot:), but after a recent stay I found blood on the matress topper:( I usually ***** the bed so it's easier for cleaners, did tell reception andthey did apologise, but told head office and they said should of complained when I got there !! Who stripped the bed down when they get there???. The whole hotel needs a tidy and a paint too

3 different rooms in total!! First one… checked in and went for a walk. Came back, key card wouldn’t work. Workmen came onto my room and changer the door handles!! Shower curtain stunk, TV not working. Went to reception and was told that she’d come up to the room to check TV, but they are fully booked so can’t give me another room. Not being able to fix TV offered me another room? Moved to 2nd room… dirty towels propping door open and box with new door handle/lock inside Back to reception… 3rd room is dirty! Dinner One person serving drinks, taking food orders and serving food. Dirty and unmade tables all over the place… Starter came within 10 minutes… waited for 25 minutes for plate to be cleared. Another 20 minutes for main… tho she did come over and apologise for the delay and offered me another drink on the house (which I declined). Came down at 5:50, at 6:50 I still hadn’t had my main course, eventually arrived at 6:55. Left half of the main course… it was tasteless.
