Positives: Central location to shops, bars, restaurants Nice view from bar & restaurant Very comfortable bed and pillows Nice breakfast and friendly helpful staff Nice city to visit calm traffic system Downside: hall floorboards Limited Views from window, photo Bring earplugs if light sleeper with humming, u can turn off heat in bathroom with plug on outside. Very warm at night. Aircon turns off after an hour or 2

Had a beautiful meal at the Tower Hotel in Waterford yesterday evening. The decor of the bar/restaurant is absolutely beautiful. On arrival we got a beautiful table overlooking the river. Niamh was looking after our table. A beautiful menu with myself and my wife having the curry and our son having the chicken burger. The food arrived out in no time and the presentation was top class. Niamh checked in half way through our meal ensuring everything was ok for us. She was a really friendly lady and made our experience special. Looking forward to going back to the Tower Hotel in Waterford soon.

We had lovely stay in Tower Hotel, found all staff to be extremely friendly. We had dinner in Hobsons restaurant and staff were extremely accommodating with our daughter who has dairy and egg allergy. The quality of our meal was excellent and again breakfast was equally as good. Looking forward to booking again in the future.

Booked a baby shower with Sinead at the start of July, she seated us in the perfect location upstairs in the restaurant view of the quay and in a nice private area felt like we had our own room. Food was fab , all waiters couldn’t have been more accomadating for anything we asked for from decorating bits to food/drink. No rush to get us out of the area either. Big thanks to Sinead for helping us organise a brillant day :)

I am a regular visitor to Waterford and I love this hotel. Michael O'Neill, the General Manager and his staff are a credit to the place. The lobby is relaxing with beautiful decor and the staff are friendly and helpful. All the facilities are well maintained and the hotel gives a warm welcome vibe when you enter. The bar and restaurant has plenty to choose from and in the morning, the breakfast area upstairs boasts beautiful views. I enjoyed two nights over the Christmas period when the Winterval festival was on. The hotel is in a great location to experience all that Waterford has to offer. It never disappoints everytime I return and I am always warmly welcomed back It's the little touches that make this hotel worth a trip. As a solo traveller predominantly, this is an ideal hotel for a relaxing solo trip or whatever your reason for staying should be.

Stayed in the tower hotel for the first time last weekend with a group of friends and the experience was fantastic, Arrived on Saturday afternoon and was looked after by gràinne on reception who checked me in.Its was very smooth and helpful. She informed about where my room was and the lay out of the restaurant and breakfast for morning. The rooms were very spacious and beds extremely comfortable. And very quite on the night... Blackout curtains too so made it a great sleep as bright in early morning... Had a lovely meal in the bar restaurant, and a fantastic night after. Breakfast was fantastic the morning after loads of choices both hot and cold selections,the views was brilliant too as breakfast looks out on the river. There was loads of staff to help with anything required and were very professional and helpful. Its was a fantastic experience would definitely recommend the tower hotel.. Definitely 4 stars.
