Hotel Gierer

Many hotels have already experienced frequent travelers, including those along the north shore of Lake Constance. We had a spacious room with a balcony and minibar, enough closet space and a view of the lake and mountains that changed every day, so that you no longer needed a TV. The view over Lake Constance to the Swiss side with the peaks of Säntis and neighboring mountains as well as the Appenzeller Land and Sankt Gallen was breath-taking again and again for a week. The biggest surprise was the excellent and imaginatively served a la carte meal in the evening. Every morning at breakfast there was a different specialty to look forward to (e.g. white sausages and pretzels, yeast braid, poor knights, Strammer Max, ...). A great nut bread. The omelettes, fresh from the kitchen for breakfast, are a dream! The operating concept at breakfast with a service counter for bread, rolls, cheese, sausage, etc. convinced us very much because it is more hygienic and then not as much ends up in the garbage because guests load their plates fuller than they need. We always got our money's worth and every wish was fulfilled with great friendliness! The staff deserves a special praise anyway. We particularly enjoyed the spa because it had all the essentials; a hot sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation room are enough for us. In addition, we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the indoor pool all to ourselves from time to time. The outdoor sauna area was closed at this time of year. Parking can be tight in the evenings on weekends, but we still managed to find a spot for 7 days.

Great hotel, very clean and quiet with free ample parking. To be highlighted is the performance of the kitchen and the extremely friendly, courteous staff. We would love to come back any time for a comprehensive wellness relaxation.

Geräumige und saubere Zimmer und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es gibt die Option auf frisch zubereitete Omlettes und Crepes. Das Schwimmbad ist ausreichend, ebenfalls der Saunabereich. Alles in allem eine gute Wahl.

Personal, Küche, Ambiente Pools und ruhige Atmosphäre sind vorbildlich für Entspannung und Wohlfühlen. Lage zum See und den von mir geliebten Hinterland sind toll mit ausreichendem Abstand zum Chaos auf dem Bodenseeradweg. Toller Außenpool und von uns geliebte traditionelle Küche.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr aufmerksames Personal - egal ob am Empfang - im Restaurant oder Zimmerservice. Ausgezeichnetes Essen (wir hatten Halbpension). Super leckeres Frühstück. Sehr bequeme Matratzen. Alles sehr sauber. Sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren, sind hier während der Novavirus gastierte( kann passieren) Personal hat super reagiert,von der Direktion niemand zu sehen und keine Solidarität gegenüber dem Personal. Wellness geschlossen (ist ok in der Situation) aber keine Infos dazu auf dem Zimmer.
