Homewood Suites by Hilton Ann Arbor

The room was spacious and clean when we checked in. Bed was comfortable. Having the couch area and kitchen space was good. We had an accessible room with rolling shower. The problem was that a lot of shower water would go into the main area and not down the drain but rather follow the grout lines, so some grout was missing and tiles loose. We used a lot of towels on the floor for the water. Sticker on the mirror said room cleaning every other day, but we were handed a slip of paper that said 4 days No one cleaned our room or emptied trash for the 4 days we were there. I put some towels in the hallway and went for new towels a couple of times. Breakfast was a typical Hilton breakfast. Nothing special. Front desk people were ok but barely acknowledged us anytime we came or went. Looked like college kids and were too busy on their phones. May or may not stay there again. There is a parking garage underneath but no real signs to let you know

Visiting a dear friend in Ann Arbor, we chose this hotel on its proximity to his flat and it turned out to be a great choice. As it is new, it is very, very clean , and we enjoyed the minimalist decor. Homewood Suites offer a great product. Staff here were well trained, amiable and helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious. When we return to Ann Arbor, this will be our choice. Very nice stay.

4 days in the hotel and they didn’t clean the room once. The hotel is so expensive, as every other hotel in Ann Arbor . I am paying $400 a night and they couldn’t even take out the trash once. They have a policy that they will clean the room once every other day, so at least they should’ve cleaned twice but nothing. No new towels, trash can full, bed not made. The room floor was also dirty when we checked in. They offered to take $30 off of my total bill for the inconvenience…….
