The hotel is very clean and new. The room is big and the staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The friendliness at this hotel is top-notch. The hotel feels new and very clean. Our room was on the side of the hotel overlooking the metro / train corridor. Every ten minutes or so up until about midnight, it was quite loud. The staff had earplugs and a noise machine in the rooms to help. If you book here, I suggest that you request a room that is not on the side of the rail corridor.

Excellent stay. Kind, professional staff.
Watch your fingers in the oddly designed bathroom door as your fingers can get smashed between door hardware and doorframe as you slide it closed.
If you're a light sleeper, ask for room facing courtyard; Rooms facing train tracks come with earplugs for a reason.
Restaurant food is outstanding and staff member Blue is exceptionally warm and kind and just great at what she does.

This hotel is very new. The lobby is very nice, with big windows, lots of furniture, and an attractive bar area. The employees were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was great in most respects. It was very clean, very modern and well furnished. We specially liked the flooring (luxury vinyl plank) as it felt very clean and was attractive. There were plenty of outlets. The bathroom was large, with a very convenient shelf near the sink, and a big shower with a rain head. We did not like the motion sensor in the bathroom that turned on bright lights when you walked in. I finally figured out how to dim them but had to repeat the process every time. The bathroom has a big sliding door, with no stop, and I pinched my finger between the handle and the wall. This could be really hazardous for small children. We took a while to figure out the lighting in the room, which is actually really nice as it is mostly indirect lighting except for pendants next to the bed. The biggest drawback was that our room faced a railroad track and we could hear trains all night. The hotel provided ear plugs and a white noise machine, but it was still a problem for my husband. My sister-in-law had a room facing a different direction and didn't hear the trains at all. This review sounds a bit negative, but we actually liked the hotel a lot and would stay here again.

Value for money for this hotel is really worth it. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The staff knows how to provide the correct direction to where we were going.

This place smelled like raw sewage as you walked in the door. It was overpowering and beyond disgusting. There was also an almost constant beeping near the front desk that made me crazy. The room was lovely and the food in the restaurant was decent, if you could stand to walk through the entry to get to it. Great area, close to a metro stop the hill. I just couldn't get over the smell as you walked in and dreaded it every time we came or went.

Room was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Bathroom was quite large.
Music in the lobby at night was so loud that you couldn’t talk. Very annoying. Evening front desk staff were condescending bordering on rude. Tried to order room service but there was no menu in the room or on-line. Front desk offered to bring a menu to our room but it never arrived. Went down to the front desk to get the single piece of poorly copied paper that was the menu. The restaurant never answered when we called to place an order so we ended up ordering food thru Uber Eats from a local restaurant.
The hotel sits directly next to the railroad tracks and the trains are LOUD. Earplugs are provided (which should be a clue as to how loud the trains are).
I won’t be back. There are too many other choices in hotels to deal w/ ridiculously loud music, inattentive and disinterested staff and the train.
I do want to say that the morning front desk staff were great.

When I booked the hotel, I didn’t realize how close the train yard was to the hotel. It is right outside of the window. Imagine how many trains come and go from Washington DC. You hear every one of them at all hours of the day and night.

Great experience overall- staff are also very friendly and professional. The hotel is located right next to railway tracks. So you would hear the trains. Didn’t bother me but if important for you, reserve rooms on the opposite side of the building.
