Husband and I stepped back in time, in this most glorious building. Our room was divine and lush with a private bathroom , cheese platter on arrival, met by the lovely Linda one of the staff and greeted at the desk by other staff they are all very happy and most friendly. The Manager Amy what a beautiful soul she has, if you get a chance to stay there make sure you meet her. The grounds are beautiful, area is quite, lots of heritage listed buildings within the area eg: St Mary got a personal tour :) Breakfast at the Abbey with a view, just makes you want to get up and start your day with a skip in your step. Go sit in the Chapel "Say a little Pray" and feel the warmth. . I can't wait to go back and visit the lovely ladies again, what a great team they are at preserving a gorgeous building for everyone to go back in time and feel like Lords and Ladies of the Manor.

As a person who has stayed in 100's of hotels the abbey nails how to differentiate, everything from pillow selection to decor and cleanliness nails the brief, and of coarse most importantly the bed, luxury at its best, definitely an accommodation experience.

Our accommodation experience for 2 nights mid week was in the Catherine McAuley Room and we were offered an "Escape Package" which included a continental breakfast and $50 drinks credit. Restaurant is not currently in operation and we chose to dine at The Criterion Hotel on both nights which is an easy and flat 10/15 minute walk. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed our experience and learning about the interesting past history of the venue. The place has plenty of charm and elegance and is a gem with various accommodation options. Our room was reasonably spacious with ornate furnishings and very comfortable bed. Very highly recommended.

Our first stay at The Abbey after hearing about it from our son. Staff were welcoming, helpful & courteous. The Abbey has an interesting history & we enjoyed exploring the rooms and beautiful gardens. The happiest chickens free range the yard. Breakfast in the dining room each morning was delightful. Our room was lovely with a little Juliette balcony overlooking the hills. A longer stay next time for us.

Very friendly staff, clean, tidy and well appointed room. Best nights sleep for a long time. This building has been lovingly restored to its former beauty, well worth at least a stay for the night or two. .................................

Excellent value. The rates are good, the rooms beautiful and clean, great views and nice grounds. Service was friendly and professional. The owners were present and took a personal interest in our experience. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.

The Abbey is a fabulous place to stay. Tastefully restored and furnished and with beautiful grounds. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The history on display is very interesting. The dinner was delicious. Make sure to pre-book before you go for dinner. We highly recommend it to anyone travelling to the area.

This is an awesome venue and accommodation. The history is amazing for a country and young as Australia. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and super helpful. The food was great, and the rooms were so luxurious. I will stay here anytime I am in Warwick or surrounds. I highly recommend it not just because of its comfort but because of the experience of staying there.
