Although the private ablutions are clean, the camping ground is definitely not up to standard. Stands are small and too close together. No gras, just thorns. Barely shade. Kids won't be able to play or walk bare foot. The R900 p/n they charged us is ridiculous for what you get. The camp site looks old and worn down. The owner’s don't care attitude towards the guests says a lot about his character and the camp grounds. We were not the only family paying full, just to have to go find a better place to camp for the weekend…Money down the drain. Daylight robbery.

An absolute wonderful experience. Our kids could ride their bikes, play and swim. The game drive on the neighboring farm was a highlight! The4-sleeper unit we stayed in had everything we needed. Thank you Uitvlugt, we look forward to another stay with you!

A very quiet and peaceful resort. Facilities are clean and neat. Just what we were looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful. A lovely family resort with activities to keep everyone busy. Dinokeng is not far away and self drives were worthwhile with good sightings.

Communication was good and very friendly and helpful. Loadshedding schedules were sent to us which was a great plus. Not many places do this. Cleaners were also very friendly. We were however dissappointed in the accommodation itself. Maybe for R500/R600 per night it would be fine. But for almost R1000 a night it is overpriced. I understand a rustic and farm look but everything was very patchwork and uneven. The microwave and oven had a funny smell. We are not difficult but do feel that the "chalet" is overpriced- especizlly when comparing to other accommodation close by.

The stands for shared abultions for caravans is not suitable for stands are they are not level making it difficult to level the caravan and it is also difficut to gain access to a stand. The power was also tripping due to over load and owner informed us that was going to replace to bigger trip switch which I'm sure has already been done. The last 5 km to resort very bad road for caravan

We stayed for 3 days in the Sysie cottage after being upgraded due to construction at the Troupant cottage. The cottage was nicely appointed and clean. Really good value for the rates charged. Unfortunately our stay was not very relaxing or peacefull due to the constant movement and noise of construction vehicles and workers. I suppose the management wanted to complete some projects due to the holidays starting the day of our departure. They might have tried to be more considerate. Our stay would have been very nice as the resort area are beautiful. Maybe another time ....

We had a lovely weekend stay at Uitvlugt Resort, the reception was warm and welcoming and the chalet was clean and well looked after. The resort itself is maintained and it is clear that improvements were being made very recently. A very relaxing bushveld experience.
