toilet roll was left from previous tenants…and it was covered in blood.
shower was absolutely pathetic and my partner couldn’t even wash her hair..
No one within the hotel after 8pm so we couldn’t even complain about it.

Their cleanliness is terrible. There was dead bugs around the toilet, the bathroom sink was dirty, the towel rail was dusty, the cups in the bathroom had residue of the previous guests. The bed had hairs in it and stains on the sheets and the cushions on the beds were disgusting and need replacing. They clearly didn’t hoover our room, you wouldn’t want to walk around barefoot on the carpet. We asked for spare pillows to be told they didn’t have any as they were fully booked. Surely a hotel should have a stock of spares. The building itself is lovely from the outside and they have a very cute courtyard, but we won’t be going back!!!

Not a bad hotel, clean and tidy. Quiet, countryside location.
Plenty of parking, Indian restaurant attached.
“Breakfast” could do with some work. TBH I wouldn’t bother with again.

Just a few points of feedback:
I paid for breakfast up front - which was meant to be open from 7am. However, what really happened was that breakfast (prepared by the Receptionist - who was very helpful) started to be prepared from 7am-ish. Coffee, microwave toastie, juice etc duly handed over in a paper bag (I was not the only one waiting) - but this was not ready 'till ~7.20am. Makes a difference if you need to eat and get on your way.
Also, £2.50 for the car-park - why? It's not the money - just the impression given.
The restaurant is Indian cooking - which I enjoyed. Waiter was pleasant and efficient.
Room was basic. Clean but a few cobwebs in the cupboards. No AC.

Good on value for money. peaceful location and environment, comfortable stay, helpful staff. Found a spider and a few insects in the washroom, they can definitely do better with cleanliness. asked housekeeping for a general room clean up while I was out and they emptied the bins and all but beds were not made. I left my Apple Watch accidentally in the room and when I came back it was still there . So good honest staff.

Standard hotel, but very comfortable. We had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful. The onsite restaurant was great, fabulous Indian cuisine.

Really lovely environment, very clean, and service was out of this world. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was beautiful. This hotel is a must, excellent value for money. Highly recommend. Thank you for looking after us.
