We have just returned from a 6 day break where we stayed at Plume Villas, a hour north of Auckland. The accommodation was perfect for us, it was private, well appointed and just what we wanted. The staff were helpful and respectful to the extent we hardly noticed them as they went about their business. The co-located restaurant also known as Plume, was a genuine find with some of the best food and wine we have encountered in ages. We dined at the restaurant at every opportunity (they were closed one night!) and managed to work our way through every course on the menu, from the 7 course degustation with matching wine to complimentary after dinner wines on a couple of occasions. The staff at the restaurant were knowledgeable, friendly and very obliging when dealing with our every request - Melanie was a standout !. The Chef engaged with us at every opportunity which was an added bonus... This place is a real treat... It is 5 stars all round from us...

This was our second visit to Plume Villas and it was nice to see how well the landscaping is developing. We stayed in the 3 bedroom kiwi villa which was very well kitted out for our family. It was lovely to receive a welcome bottle of sparkling wine. The only thing missing for us was that the only TV was on the living room - it would have been good to have TVs in the bedrooms so that the children could have down time away from the adults

We stayed at Plume about 4 years ago and being back there over this Christmas just confirmed for us how good it is. It is a beautiful setting with the villas set amongst stunning gardens. Everything was immaculite and well thought out and presented along with friendly service. Will definitely go back, 5 stars for us.

It was a relaxing weekend surrounded by beauty and the Tui 7 villa was well set up and amazingly comfortable. The facility is of a top standard with all the amenities and luxuries one would expect in a 5-star hotel, and we didn't need to ask for anything to be provided. The check in was seamless and the food at the nearby Plume restaurant was delicious as were the wines and the whole ambience of the place magical including the landscaping and lighting. A place well worth spending time in to relax and unwind especially with the autumn colours surrounding us.

We were absolutely spoilt by the weather which was crisp clear days for our entire stay but it is a lovely place to stay - I just wish I had brought some binoculars to watch all the birdlife. We stayed in a Tui villa which had a lovely deck facing north-east over the garden, so it was sunny and warm for most of the day. The villa was the perfect size for the two of us, with a generous sized bathroom and the most comfortable bed. The complimentary bottle of JOY Methode went down an absolute treat on the first afternoon - especially as we weren't expecting the wine. Will definitely be returning

These were beautiful modern and clean apartments. Comes with mini fridge, dishwasher, microwave kettle and toaster. They didn't have a stove or oven but have BBQ available to use outside. 5 star apartments, can't fault them in any way even gave us a complementary bottle of wine. The staff are very friendly.
