3-Star Hotels in Wanning

This apartment is on the man made island - it is a little hard to find the reception especially if you don’t speak Chinese. The apartment itself is perfect with everything you need. It has a lovely big balcony and the aircon works very well. It is still slightly under construction- so not all the elevators work at the moment (quite a long wait most times) The island itself is not really where all the action happens - so best to rent a scooter as there is always heavy traffic to get on and off the island.

🚗 Transportation: near the station 🧹Sanitation: The facilities are relatively new, but quite clean 🍃Environment: There is a building under construction nearby, which is very noisy. Before moving in, it is recommended to suggest whether the construction of the store is over. There are relatively large shopping malls, night markets, and barbecue stalls nearby.

The room is really average, but the bed is big, two 1.8-meter beds, quite comfortable, suitable for family travel. The price is there, don't expect services or facilities that don't match the price, there are many photos around the swimming pool. The reception is full of bad reviews, which is also a feature. In short, if you like it, you think it's okay, and if you ask for better services or facilities, there are definitely none. The atmosphere of the bar is okay, but the fried skewers on the last night made me feel uncomfortable the next day and vomited. It's not very good. The breakfast is okay, with more choices, but I'm tired of eating it for three days.

Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂

Location: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead. Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated. Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.

It was my first time to travel to Wanning and I was afraid that I would have a bad experience in a bad hotel. But this hotel gave me a really good experience. The room was not damp at all and had no peculiar smell. The sheets were very clean and not dirty at all. Place, and this hotel is also a smart hotel with high cost performance. I really recommend this hotel for over 100 yuan. The lady at the front desk heard that I was from out of town and recommended local attractions and food to me. She was really enthusiastic. It’s also super good. I really have to give this hotel a five-star rating. If I have another chance to come to Wanning next time, this hotel will be my first choice. I really love it.

Because it is inconvenient to pick up relatives from a far distance, I chose this hotel because its lobby is very grand, the environment is very good, the parking lot is super convenient, the service is very good, the drinks in the cafe are very delicious, there are many Wanning specialty snacks, and the taste is very good. It is a wise choice [呲牙]

Facilities: The rooms are new and well maintained. The breakfast room is hygienic and the meals are satisfactory. There are plenty of free parking spaces. Hygiene: clean, efficient housekeeping Environment: across the road, Huaya Happy City has both north and south cuisine restaurants, and there are snack stalls at night. The transportation is convenient. Service: Whether it is the front desk, cleaning or restaurant staff, the attitude is friendly and the service is in place. This is my preferred accommodation in Wanning for my self-driving tour around the island of Hainan Island. I would like to thank the hotel staff I met for their warm service. I sincerely wish you a smooth life! Business is booming!

The service is quite good, but the room may have been unoccupied for a long time and the bed sheets and duvet covers were not changed before there was a damp smell. It will be fine after changing them.

Upstairs, there is a neighbor, starting at ten o'clock in the evening, moving the chair, still moving at three o'clock in the middle of the night, ***. It took a while to squint at five o'clock in the morning. The house was OK. Don't look at the details. It was decent. The waiter was very good, parking was very convenient, and it took a few minutes to get off the highway to the store.
