Royal Albion Walton

Had a lovely stay at the Royal Albion. Few spaces in the car park that were already busy, so we park directly across the road from it. Ended up moving the car later that evening when a space became available. We were a family of two adults and two children, so we had a family room. It was delightful. Very spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was perfect. I’m not a fan of getting everyone up and down for breakfast, so having bits in the room was great! We were informed that had a function on, but we heard nothing. Super quiet. We had some drinks in the hotel and some light food bits. This hotel was perfect for us. We love Walton so much and always come at the weekend. But this was the first time we stayed. Highly recommend this convenient hotel. Also perfect location for walks! And gorgeous pizza take away a few minutes walk. Lots of little shops to the back of it for cheap beach supplies or even gifts. We look forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay at The Royal Albion . The landlady couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming . The room was clean , spacious with a wonderful sea view which meant we had a sea breeze on hot nights . The fridge and room were well stocked with breakfast goodies . The bed was very comfortable and shower was excellent . We will certainly head to beautiful Walton on Naze again .

We were very pleasently suprised ! The room was very clean,and the bed very comfortable. Obviously a lot of thought had been put in place to make our stay the best possible. WE had a lovely two seat table by the window. The in room breakfast was perfect for us ! A tray outside our door for request if we ran short of anything !

Very friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, continental breakfast only on offer. Room was very clean and beds comfortable although pillows very thin,beautifully clean shower and toilet Although not very good if you have mobility problems as stairs are very steep no lift alternative. Bus stops almost adjacent to the hotel with good bus service to Frinton and clacton Hotel is right opposite the beach . Although made very welcome I would not be able to stay here again due to mobility issues . But very good hotel for money paid .

A wonderful stay at the Royal Albion. Andrew, Helen and the team couldn't be more welcoming or attentive. A delightful room with panoramic seats views, immaculately clean and well equipped. Little touches like real milk for tea and coffee and quality linen make all the difference. Lucky to have the time to enjoy a beer or two in the pub itself. Great value and a very welcoming bunch of locals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem of a venue.

Booked a room overnight 17/7/22. Contacted Andrew and was able to drop bag and collect keys earlier than normal due to a family event. Room simple clean excellent laundered bedding and towels . fridge full with milk yoghurt along with tea coffee making facilities cereals etc. I had an issue with water coming through the bathroom ceiling above . Contacted Andrew .he picked up in two rings and was attending the issue in ten minutes. I was offered another room but the leak was tapped and no real issue. 19/7/22 I received flowers a small token to apologise.WOW Very overwhelmed . Thanks Andrew Helen and team 🙏🙌🤩
