Red Lion Inn and Suites Walla Walla

Extraordinarily clean room with smart use of space. Friendly staff who great you with a glass of local wine upon arrival. Very comfortable beds and soft sheets. Nice toiletries. (Only complaint is that the toilet paper is single ply. Silly, but something that always baffles me as a place to save money.). No coffee in the room, but very good coffee in the lobby. Wonderful outdoor fireplace where you can have a glass of wine or whiskey in provided glasses from the lobby. Excellent location within walking distance of a myriad of restaurants, wineries and shopping. A wonderful motel.

I stayed at the Finch in Walla Walla for a business trip that was arranged by my office assistant. It was a few blocks from the conference but across the street from a lovely gluten free bakery and near the downtown. The staff was very friendly, and I love how the room was decorated. In addition, the bed was fantastic! I would highly recommend this hotel and I plan to come back and visit the local wineries very soon.

The Finch is our favorite place to stay in Walla Walla. It is convenient to downtown restaurants, wineries and shops. It is consistently good and the staff is over the top friendly and helpful.

We will definitely stay at the Finch whenever we are in Walla Walla. We enjoyed our room so much. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the huge shower and the upscale amenities, lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We also thought the lighting in the room was superior to many hotels where we have stayed .

I stayed at the Finch last minute on a business trip. I didn't know about this hotel prior to my stay. The location is great and walking distance to downtown Walla Walla. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has great features that made it a fun stay, a fire, games and wine tasting.

I love the Finch, since the first time I stayed here, I won’t stay anywhere else in walla Walla. And I’m very picky. The rooms are clean, elegant, functional, and well designed. The staff is amazingly helpful, quick to respond, and very friendly. They have a great outdoor seating area, a great indoor seating area, they’re located within walking distance of beautiful downtown venues, they have bikes for you to use, there’s plenty of parking. I have never once left the Finch thinking anywhere else might’ve been better. But they also have a ton of cute and cool things they’ve done to give it that little extra that makes it feel special: cool murals/art on the walls that all reference local Walla Walla culture, a fireplace with smores packs, a texting service, a chalkboard in the lobby with recommended wine visits, and so much more. I think what really makes the difference here is that they prove to you that they put in the extra effort to make your stay great. It feels good being here.

This was the first time to Walla Walla. The Finch was a nice location and a nice hotel. Close to many things and the little amenities were super. Being able to come back and hangout by the fire every evening is a very nice touch.

The Finch is perfect — nicely furnished, quiet rooms, and friendly helpful staff! All guests can also enjoy relaxing in lovely community spaces — the open lounge/lobby area, the outside spaces, and the wonderful outside fire pit area in the evenings! The location is terrific—brief walk to downtown restaurants and shops and a few blocks from Whitman College!

Do you want amazing friendly staff, some of the comfiest beds ever, and a great location within walking distance to some of the best bakery and wineried in Eastern Wa, than look NO FURTHER than the Finch.
