Great hotel near the beach in Mackay. Comfortable stay with a great breakfast, a little far from Mackay city if you don't have your own transport, but the views are beautiful.

An excellent place to stay
This was our first time staying at the Mantra Mackay and hopefully it will not be our last. Normally we stay in town near the highway but this time we tried the marina precinct and were very happy with our choice of the Mantra. The staff were friendly and the room was excellent. The bars and restaurants along the waterfront were great. We are looking forward to another visit before too much longer, and hopefully for more than just one night on the way through.

I stayed on a Monday night there was no services avialiable at the resort. it was like the hotel was a gost hotel.

Wait staff at night were absolutely amazing but the morning staff at breakfast were rude and not at all helpful
