The hotel is praised for its exceptional service, delicious breakfast variety, prime location near the ski lift, and world-class spa. However, it is considered overpriced, despite its cleanliness and well-equipped rooms.

Excellent location at the ski lift/slop Perfekt lovely Wellness/spa. A lot of cosy places to be, Sussi Alm, pizza resturant and Shusi bar and Hannes Alm for a stop by in the end of the slop. The food where for us a bit of a disapointment for a 4star superior hotel.

Ordered food at 18:41, delivery time was set at 19:25. After waiting and calling 4 times, the food was delivered cold at 21:00. Company representatives could not inform us on delivery time during phone calls. Only simple excuses that ‘they took too many orders’ and that ‘kitchen was too busy at the moment’. We even proposed picking up the food ourselves instead of having it delivered which was not possible. If you want to order (hot) food on time, do not order here.

My son and I booked a one week ski vacation at the Alpenwelt Resort Hotel. We looked for a comfortable hotel, half pension and with Après-Ski Spa amenities. And that we got!! Having been during the last half century in many ski resorts foremost in Switzerland, North Italy and Austria, I can vouch for the Alpenwelt Resort showing its four stars superior with valor. It's a luxurious sport hotel with lots of features, a billiard table, an electronic darts machine and of course the well equipped Spa with heated swimming pool (partially outside), jacuzzies and a Sauna area with all you need to relax and pamper yourself. I took also a sports massage which was done very well. The breakfast buffet was well stacked with lots of foods and features. Each day I took less to my table as the selection of items was too much for one to eat them all. The dinner was also at a very good level, offering three types of menus, meat, fish and vegetarian food. All in all everything a demanding patron could wish for. The rooms were adequate, not fancy, but who needs fancy rooms when one is on a ski vacation? After dinner one could wind down at the bar or as I did, went to bed in order to be at the swimming pool at 7 am next morning when it opened. The receptionists were charming and very helpful, even beyond expectation. All in all a very successful holiday in Koenigsleiten, not the least due to the ambiance and level of service we enjoyed at the Alpenwelt Resort. If I'll ever come back to Koenigsleiten for a ski vacation or summer holiday, my choice of residence will be certainly the Alpenwelt Resort! Is the place without blemish or critique? No, of course not! At this level, not only first class amenities are important, also the waiters in the restaurant should be first class. And using non-professional youngsters from other, East-European countries does not cut it. They were very friendly, but the language barrier showed and thus, hindering to provide a nice ambiance in human communications and professional waiting. Since Austrian law required from last week March 2022 to wear masks in closed, public rooms, the majority of staff did not wear masks and nobody asked guests to don them. The very well equipped Sauna (4 different sauna rooms, incl. Alpenview window herbs sauna, hot Finnish sauna and two humid lower temperature healing saunas) had a outside terrace to cool down, only the terrace was visible from the road, so no privacy possible...

The good: location is excellent, nice apres-ski in Susialm, prices in bar are reasonable, lunch package when checking out early, breakfast is OK, hygiene is good, nice swimming pool. The bad: noisy rooms, loud music until late, no help with luggage, very expensive hotel for the qualitity provided The Ugly: Lack of decent management. Food in the hotel at diner is disappointing, sometimes uneatable. Please avoid reception because of Miss Grumpy living there; this older women is unfriendly, has a lack of manners and is totally unsuitable for her job!! Service in bar/restaurant is very busy, sometimes waiting for more than half an hour for a drink, when changing to another table because our 3 year old kid is getting cold, the waiter gets rude and impolite, but when the bill is coming he is asking for "drinking money"/tip, etc etc Conclusion: Did we have a nice holiday: Yes, we did ! Would we go back to this hotel: certainly not, it is way overpriced. For a simple 23 m2 room and 5000 euro a week we can find a much better place with much better service!

Disappointing visit. Most of the staff really tried to be friendly. The place is beautifully decorated and there’s a lot to do. However, the website photos are misleading, the elevator noises woke us up 2x per night (!) and because of mismanagement the waiters were stressed and overworked. Not what should be expected from an expensive resort like this. Lots of rules everywhere. Complaints (for example about the noisy elevator) resulted in promises which were not followed up. This place focuses on making money instead of giving their guests a good time, pity.

We loved the location, the hotel itself and the lovely spa. But we were charged so many things as extra without this being clear upfront. For example to use the pool table was an extra 8 euros, there was no option for tap water for our kids in the restaurant so we had to pay 5 euros for bottles of mineral water each time, I forgot my toothbrush and was charged for a replacement, my present of a spa treatment was late/cut short. Given the high cost per night these extra costs left us feeling disappointed with the overall experience.
