This room was more of a landing pad for me and my fiancé heading to my parents for Christmas and the room was lovely. Jane the receptionist was very helpful with all our queries and problems going above and beyond to help us in anyway she could, she really made our stay extra special.

Convenient location, however the breakfast was awful and the room wasn't ready for us. Overall disappointing and much worse than the last time I stayed. Ladies at reception were great, however. Not good value for the price, which was a shame.

I stayed for one night alone at the hotel, which is located very conveniently for the M1 and the City of Wakefield. Check In was very smooth and Jane on the desk was very friendly and nothing appeared too much trouble. I had a slight issue with my rooms bathroom, which was dealt with swiftly and professionally by Theresa. The hotel is located directly opposite a Brewer's Fayre, where the staff were also friendly. Couldn’t fault the service at this hotel .

We’ve stayed in this hotel a lot and this was the first time we didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we do. Couldn’t sleep due to someone walking heavy upstairs, started at 12.30am and continued during the night. Fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and we couldn’t turn down the heating. Luckily there was a fan in the room. We also ran out of toilet paper 🙈

Everything was perfect. The room, the location, the staff, particularly Jane on reception, who gave us impeccable directions to wherever we wanted to go. We had a fantastic weekend for my husband’s birthday. Well done to all concerned. We look forward to visiting again!

Staff are friendly, but some seem to forget to do things. My colleague had a noisy room so asked to be moved. All Agreed only to find it hadn’t been done and couldn’t be as hotel now full. Rooms dated, floors crack and creak, bathroom water damaged and my tv is next to useless, even take close to minute to change channel or shut off. Meal deal doesn’t include the festive menu, breakfast missing items. All in all pretty poor.
