Hotels Near Mt. Takanosu Observatory in Wakayama

Directly connected to Wakayama Station. Because it was in front of the station, there was a CVS and so on. It was on the upper floor of ”Kino Wakayama” in the station building and dinner was done there. The building was clean and the bath was very comfortable with a view of the Kino River. There was also a menu with breakfast and it was delicious. However, it was a few dissatisfaction points that made the evaluation ”normal”. It is mainly a part of hospitality, not hard. First of all, I was guided to breakfast at check-in. Because it was a Bon Festival time, there was a paste that the breakfast time was early in the elevator, but it was guided at the front desk at the usual time. Under the corona, the locker of the bath was pulled out, but when the locker without the key was opened and asked the front desk whether it was possible to use it, it was answered that it did not get the point. When I used it for family ３ people and asked the front desk for breakfast tickets without a number of people and confirmed that it was okay and went to the breakfast venue, I was told that ”the breakfast ticket is not enough １ pieces”. I thought that the front desk was on the upper floor and it was surprising to go up to the upper floor once when I checked out. As a concept of the whole Candeo Hotels, it is called ”unique ４ stars”, but it has somehow lacking impression that it does not become ５ stars. It seems that there is a chain hotel nationwide, but what about ... It is a hotel that does not come to the top of the choice.

When I was looking for a hotel in Wakayama City, I found ”Daiwa Roynet”. I used it often on Okinawa Kokusai-dori, so I feel like I chose it by name first. It's quite far from Wakayama station, but there was no problem because it was used by car. I was surprised to check the location after making a reservation. It is in front of ”Wakayama Castle”. This day was during the illumination period, so I could see the illuminated Wakayama Castle in front of the room and it was the best location! The rooms are well equipped, equipped with deodorant and air purifier, and the refrigerator is in a state of kara, so I used it with drinks. Breakfast is a restaurant with a view of the castle in front of you. This is also outstanding. The content of the buffet is also a general Western menu, ”omelet” made in front of you. In addition, ”Wakayama specialty” was full, and I was full. I regretted that I should have centered on ”Eating and Comparing Umeboshi”, ”Shirasu”, ”Sesame Tofu”, and ”Tuna Kakuni” (laughs). There is also dessert after meals. It seems to be Wakayama that there was ”panda cookie” with coffee! ｰ Food ｰ Dinner was graded and correct. The taste was really good in the sashimi that entered in a large cherry blossom like a ball box. I had a pot of quer and ISE shrimp, but I personally wanted ISE shrimp to be put out first. The seasoning is not a taste that feels luxury, but none of them are delicious. The dishes recommend grading. Breakfast was half a buffet, but the amount and taste are satisfactory. There are many hotels with breakfast, but this is not such a thing ｡ fried rice was so much on the rice that it was a big board behavior. Recommended is smoothie and fruit yogurt｡ This inn is not a room meal, but the dining hall is next door and there is no partition or cherry blossoms ｡ ｰ room ｰ room was Japanese room, with unit bus. You can see that the building itself is renovated in the original 々 old and the room is renovated. The unit bus felt especially old. You can see the sea from the room. ホテルの真下が綺麗な海で潮騒の音が心地よい❗️ テラスのお風呂を三回も利用（笑）満天の星の深夜も夜明け太陽が登る早朝もサイコー❗️ ギリシャには訪れた事無いけど…ギリシャをイメージした建物に内装も食事も満足感あります。 今回、初めての利用ですが絶対、リピ有りです。 全国旅行支援を利用した旅でしたがホテル直接の予約でしたがワクチン3回接種証明を忘れて割引やクーポンはゲット出来なかったけど…其れでも大変コスパ良く同行の母親も喜んで親孝行できました！ スタッフの対応も素晴らしく室内も新築の様な手入れをされて清潔感あると思います。 料理は前菜のボリュームがあり過ぎて魚料理、肉料理が食べきれない。ちょっと年配の母親にはキツイと感じました。 ギリシャヨーグルトは流石に美味しい！ 大阪や京都、神戸の方には超オススメです。 でもギリシャ料理を堪能したので個人的には◎

It was small and there were few washrooms, but there were no other users and I was able to relax in a state of occupying one person. The room was clean and even in the double room, there was a space to spread the luggage, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It's a little far from JR Wakayama station. A little. I thought it was just a walk, but it didn't take long enough. The exterior of the red brick is a little tired, but the semi-double room has been beautifully renewed. Bathroom is old. There are old places here and there. The employees were also in a good mood. That's all there is for a luxury hotel, so... There is no problem with the amenities, and the con in the hotel The vinyl is a little lonely, but it's the bare minimum. Simple hotel but super convenient, close to JR train station and there are many eateries nearby. The hotel even includes a complimentary buffet breakfast, nothing fancy but just a nice touch to start your day. Room is proper and clean. Note that the train station nearby is JR Wakayama station and not Wakayama-shi (Wakayama city) station on the private train line. I made a mistake myself and had to get here by another train ride. This is a very pleasant town. If you have time, take the JR line to Kishi station (貴志駅) to see its famous cat manager Tama.

This is a well-facilitated hotel with very friendly and helpful room services delivered by the polite staff members. The hotel lobby is very clean with rich color of heritage and indigenous cultures. The nearby shopping and dining restaurants provide delicious and tasteful food. I would like to consume the hotel services again when returning to this wonderful town.

Close to JR Wakayama station, whilst not on the most exciting side, there's still plenty of food options for dinner. The hotel is what you would expect from the Toyoko Inn chain if you've ever stayed with them before: efficient check in, good service, small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is the usual basic Japanese fare with toast as a Western option, with limited seating. They strangely seemed to be lacking knives, so other hotel guests as well as myself were using forks, spoons and chopsticks to try and spread the jam on the toast! A well priced hotel which gives me the basics I need for a good night's rest.
