Wakayama is a city that is worth slowly experiencing. Very close from Kansai Airport. The hot spring in this hotel is also very comfortable. The price/performance ratio is very high. Food, accommodation and transportation are more convenient than in Osaka and Kyoto.

The hotel is in a good location. It's within a ten-minute walk to the subway. The room is not big, but it's clean. There is almost no service. There is coffee at the front desk, but the biggest problem is that they don't provide drinking water.

It may be a new hotel with fewer reviews. I took a chance and tried it. It's very good. It's right at JR Wakayama Station. Note that it's Wakayama Station, not Wakayama City Station. Wakayama City Station is a station on the Nankai Line. Come out of Kansai Airport and take JR to Hineno Station for 2 stops. After getting off, go to the opposite platform to transfer to Wakayama Station. Come out of the East Exit and walk straight for 2/3 of the street. You will arrive when you come out of the East Exit. You can see it in the front left. The hotel has a hot spring, but the pool is relatively small. There is only one and no outdoor pool. You can just soak in it to relieve fatigue. It's still good. There is free coffee in the lobby. It is within walking distance of Kintetsu Department Store (JR station) and Wakayama Castle. It's very convenient.
