Came to Vermont to check out the area for the coming ski season and stayed overnight. Found the staff to be very friendly. Highly recommend staying here- if you want low keyed, relaxing environment- this is for you. I will be staying here again!!

We stayed in room #8. The room was spacious with a king size bed and jetted bathtub. The heating system was almost silent and easy to control. The bed and linens were very comfortable and allowed for a deep sleep. I only wish we had been able to check in sooner and stay longer to enjoy the property itself.

We didnt think we could find a last minute place to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary but we absolutely lucked out with this gem!!Room was super clean,easy check in and out,our host,Jonny was attentive and helpful and the hostess at the restaurant was so nice and friendly!! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

We stayed only one night, though, eager to return! Madbush Falls totally impressed us … rooms are hip, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped especially unique was the in-room beverage station (pour over coffee was awesome). The restaurant was hopping upon arrival and as soon as the GM knew we were guests he made sure we got a table. Menu was creative and absolutely delicious. Wishing we could have stayed for Sunday Brunch & Bluegrass music, and we will absolutely take advantage of a plunge in the falls next time. Sounds like the property is seeking to expand their offerings, which are already exceptional and satisfyingly eclectic. This is an authentic + upscale base camp for biking, hiking, leaf peeping and of course ski season.

Relatively new to the area, this gem is a must! Beautiful property and interior. A nice variety on the menu, it took a while to decide. Our server Emma was fantastic. Meals were all incredible. App delicious too (Johnny cake, not pictured). Madbush Falls restaurant is now in my permanent rotation in the Mad River valley!

We traveled here from Long Island, New York for my daughter’s wedding. The staff was amazing, Very welcoming and very accommodating….. The rooms were very clean and the food was quite delicious. I wholeheartedly would recommend this lodge and look forward to a visit sometime again in the future.

Perfect in every way great comfortable rooms with outside decks, lovely helpful staff and amazing dinner spot. Peaceful location close to town and lots of superb hiking/running trails. Amazing place highly recommend with sauna and waterfall also on site.

Stayed here for a wedding we were attending in Waitsfield. Wonderful place to stay! The rooms were quaint (ours had a loft). Great atmosphere. The food was excellent (attended a Welcome dinner before wedding and had Sunday Brunch which was outstanding - the breakfast burrito was to die for!). Lots to do and see around the local area (hiking was excellent). There is a small river and waterfall that runs behind the property - great place to drop in for a dip. Would definitely like to return, and would highly recommend it!

Great, great place. Rooms are spacious, clean, plenty of space for gear. Excellent in room coffee, comfy beds. Restaurant was excellent, good drinks. Perfect location, quiet. Hiking and biking trails close by, Close to town if you need anything. We'll be back
