The location and facilities of Shadian are the best in the same area. It is convenient for traveling, the breakfast is rich, the staff service is first-class, and the hotel provides many travel programs, making it worth visiting again.

Spent 6 nights with a group of 17 divers while waiting for our liveaboard to show up (their delay). Staff at the hotel had minimal warning but made us feel amazingly welcome. Delicious food at the hotel restaurant. Dive staff were excellent, took us to great spots and showed us tons of local creatures. Would absolutely revisit!

This dive center is excellent. The boats are efficient, the crew is exceptionally professional, and the guides are experts at navigating and critter finding. The surface intervals are incredibly cool, popping onto various islands with a warm coffee in hand. The accommodation is pristine and I have never met staff who seem so excited to make soy cappuccinos, wash the plethora of towels we created, and answer the question that had already been mentioned multiple times. Found this place by accident, would definitely recommend, even just for a few nights on your journey. And of course, it’s the people that make the place.

Meridien Adventure Diving welcomed our group after our Liveaboard had some troubles getting to us. The hotel and dive staff were more than accommodating. The hotel is clean and nice. The diving was tremendous with a professional staff and superb diving. We could not have asked for a better experience! We will be back!

10/10 recommend! I knew Raja Ampat would have incredible diving, but staying at the Meridian was the cherry on top - Great people: from reception, dive guides, boat captains, house keeping and kitchen staff- warm, friendly, and helpful people. Made our stay so comfortable. Thank you, everyone! - once you land Sorong it’s super easy. You can pay for Meridian to arrange transport from airport and ferry. Highly recommend. - loved the dive boats- super fast and well equipped for diving. - gear felt new and well kept. I had some of my best buoyancy ever and I think a big part of that was the gear. Aqualung BCD (air inflates only in the back) - loved it. Equipment room was well organized. - the restaurant is delicious. Breakfast was included: fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, orange juice, toast (with pineapple jam or strawberry), eggs cooked to order and coffee. So good. For lunch or dinner I recommend the Kung Pao chicken or Nasi Goreng - but you can’t go wrong. Everything was delicious. - on a random note I really like the smell of their laundry detergent. The towels always smelled so nice. I also had laundry done and it came back soft and nice (and smells so good). Thank you, Meridian, for a wonderful time in Raja Ampat.

Amazing dive resort! Best dive sites we’ve been to and the staff was super nice and helpful, accommodating to different levels. Rooms were small but comfy, and food was great. We did some other cool outings like the blue river and the half-day boat which I totally recommend. Would definitely come back!!

Incredible resort for diving! The team is awesome and takes care of you and the equipment. You really just get to enjoy and eat watermelon on beautiful islands during surface intervals. UNREAL dive sites, great stay and food…but the people were the best!
