Another fantastic stay. So peaceful and quiet and Debbie is a lovely host. Very interesting to talk to and knowledgeable about local history. I really like the wide open spaces and stillness in this area which is quite different from any other place in New Zealand I’ve been. Great value and overall highly recommended.

What a gem! Stayed here on last day of our cycle and the hospitality could not have been better. Wendy greeted us and showed us around, very welcoming and friendly. The pub had closed that day because of Covid and is the only food option. Wendy was amazing, she worked so hard to give us great options and it was resolved very quickly. We had an issue with our curling transfer and she solved that for us too. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and cosy, lovely little touches so you know that these guys know what they r doing. After a fantastic sleep the delicious breakfast was amazing, home made everything and so tasty. Thank you Wendy and Debbie what a team!

We like the artistic and quirky charm of this place. The location is quiet and peaceful, close by the Otago Rail Trail.
Wendy and Debbie looked after us very well and provided a lovely breakfast.

Tiny indoor spaces which open out - great in nice weather. Good pub across the road if it rains!
