Not far from Stuttgart thus was a beautiful hotel tucked away in the old city center (Altstadt). Very comfortable room and a nice breakfast buffet. Walking distance to old Town Square. Plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby.

Hotel is located in the old town, if you arrive late there are no parking spaces far and wide (not a word about it when making a reservation by phone). When I checked in, I was asked: "Would you prefer a room without WiFi or a room without a TV - we have technical problems in the house". The shower in the room was clogged, after 2 minutes of showering the entire bathroom was under water, the desk lamp was broken. No apologies or similar for the friendly note, but a subtle note that this will be reported to the building services. Very basic breakfast...... sad
