I enjoyed a basic en-suite single room, but that’s all I wanted and the price was right. The receptionists were knowledgeable and friendly. They went out of their way to answer my questions and respond to my needs. The Jordanian style daily breakfast was plentiful and tasty. You have to drive, taxi or walk about a mile uphill from the Petra Visitor Center, but I had no issue with it (67 yrs old).

Hotel semplice, al limite dell’ essenziale. La pulizia delle lenzuola non era il massimo, ho trovato diversi capelli per cui non ho dormito a cuor leggero mentre il resto della camera risultava abbastanza pulita. Le scale per accedere ai piani e alla sala colazione sarebbero invece da rivedere perché i tappetini le rendono poco agevoli e anche pericolose. La colazione davvero scarsa. Tutto sommato non mi sento di sconsigliarlo perché i proprietari sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili e il prezzo è più che onesto per gli standard di Petra però va detto che occorre un po’ di spirito di adattamento. The hotel is quite close to the ancient city of Petra. Breakfast is also ok. The hotel has a buffet in the evening. 10 yuan (local money) is equivalent to RMB 100. Generally speaking, it is more convenient to live here in the ancient city of Petra. I asked the hotel to help me arrange a car to the hotel in the center of Amman. 650 yuan. 250 kilometers. It is more convenient.

Petra Heart hotel is at the Wadi Musa city centre... Around 1km uphill from Petra Visitor centre.... So one needs a taxi to go there and come.... But all said and done...this is a nice hotel.... Clean rooms.... Running hot and cold water.... AC is nice.... Rooms have a good view over Wadi Musa.... Breakfast is a small buffet with a live egg counter.... Decent collection of Jordanian humus and some fruits and bread with cheese, cold cuts and warm section... The hospitality is excellent..... Gives very good suggestions about how to go about Treasury and Monastery visits.... All in all. Definitely delivers its promise and worth the stay.

We were due to stay in a Bedouin camp, but couldn't because of the recent flooding in Petra. The staff at the Shaqilath put up a group of 15 of us at the very last minute, and saved our holiday! They were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were comfortable and warm., so can't fault it. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was just the place we needed whilst exploring the area. We stayed here two nights and were pleased with our rooms, the food, the staff and the cleanliness. We had plenty of hot water to shower off the dust from site seeing. The food and restaurant facilities were very good too.

Wonderful stay and amazing host. Sir helped us plan our itinerary for Petra and superb hospitality. Wonderful breakfast as well. Would recommend to everyone 100%. Our was delayed and we were still able to check in late at night. The rooms and heating facilities are very good especially in winters
