We had a good experience and fantastic buffet.. food also very good..staff is soo friendly.❤️ near beach. Super pool. Reasonable prices. There a lot of foreigners in here. Reception is so so friendly. There is a huge play ground to play cricket and batmintan.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Mermaid, and I must give a special mention to Thanuja at the front office for her excellent service. The F&B manager and the entire team were fantastic as well. Our time at the hotel was peaceful and relaxing, and the food was absolutely delicious—my kids especially loved their meals! The housekeeping manager and staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and we truly appreciated their hard work. We also enjoyed the sports area, which added to the fun of our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with the entire Mermaid team. Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable!

This is place is very beautiful and very homely. The staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. The food is very delicious and fresh... Over all the stay was amazing we had so much fun at the beach and the stay was very relaxing and we hope to come again soon!

The place looked like a classic Sri Lankan down south hotel from the outset, but the rooms were modern and spacious with complete amenities. It was not very confidential but ideal for groups and office stays and when privacy is not a priority. Check-in was very efficient thanks to the dynamic front office team including Thanuja who was very supportive. It was good to know that the food was prepared using natural spices with no preservatives or msg. Special thanks to Sameera who was in-house the whole long weekend attending to our every need. Also, Indika was very flexible with our requests at the meeting venue. Comparatively, it was a recommendable place with a star-class service.

Was an excellent stay, I went their for my bday, excellent facility, excellent food and most of all the service was superb, Thanuja, Saman and most of them treated us like family. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will visit again.

The hotel mermaid We have a great time during our full-day reservation with full board. The experience is excellent from the moment we check in, when they kindly refresh us. We often update it. In every way, the staff is quite helpful. The pool is clean and the buffet is well-tasted and presented in a tasteful manner. Pool employees bring considerate individuals. We take great pleasure in it. It's a great spot to spend the day with a play area, water polo, spa, and gym. We reserved a room with a sea view, which was fine. This is our first stay at this Hotel, inexpensive Hotel that comes highly recommended.

Disappointed to say this this was the worst stay I ever had. In our room we didn’t have at least a bottle of water , hot water and a rug or a carpet to wipe the foot. Also room reeked of some bad smell. The AC was centralized so that in the day time it’s sweaty and in the night it was cold. Our bathroom door also were broken But should mention the hotel staff was nice and outside view also really nice Food were average . I liked the breakfast spread but pastry were meh

It was a great visit for my family. The staff is really good and supportive. The room was clean and it had all the amenities. Lovely view and it had a nice sea view. The price was fair and it had several offers. The food was perfect, I thought. But the room A/C was not much good, the technician checked and nothing happened due to a maintenance problem. And balcony separation has not much privacy. The only problem was when we were at the checkout, one of the receptionists asked for my device and posted a review herself, i don't recommend it personally.

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner offered with a wide variety of food both wester and Sri Lankan. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for stay peaceful a walk around the hotel.
