In the middle of absolutely nowhere, you will find the ICV Sleepwell. I say nowhere but its only a 20 minute drive to Fårup sommerland and offers a serious alternative to the Fårup hotel. This is more of a sports super complex than just a hotel with a training center, table tennis, football pitches and tennis all within a minutes walk if not in the building. Great swimming location? Well in 2026 it will be, with one being built right now out the back. The rooms and breakfast are simple but completely acceptable with my only gripe being the shower which could do with a boost. Our room was built for 5 people, if this was a sports team sharing a room and not a family i dont know if the shower could handle it! Otherwise loads of parking and perfect for those who may be participating in sonwthing nearby.

The hotel is expanding with a new pool. The construction work started at 4:15 in the morning! There was a cocrete punping truck operating right outside our window. The noise was unbearable, and it was impossible to sleep after it started. The hotel staff made it clear that this was a planned operation, and afterwards the hotel bragged about it on Facebook. So, the hotel could have closed, but chose to pretend like nothing, and let all the guests wake up in the middle of the night. In addition, the hotel receptionist called me at 11:15 at night, for no apparent reason. I had to get out of the room to cal back, for no reason. After yelling at the receptionist and his manager, we got a full refund. This did not make up for a ruined day of our holiday. We had to get an extra night in another hotel due to the lack of sleep, instead of driving home, so the refund only covered that. Stay away from this hotel, until the construction work is finished in 2026!

Moderne bygning med gode senger og svært god service. Ligger på et rolig, og hyggelig sted. Eneste som trakk litt ned var at det var litt varmt på rommene vi fikk utdelt. Ellers topp.

Het is een accommodatie binnen een sportcentrum. Hotel vooral bedoeld om sporters een slaapplek te bieden. Het is niet bedoeld om gezellig te verblijven. Heeft geen gezellige bar, ontbijtruimte is zeer eenvoudig en niet op gezelligheid gericht. Ontbijt eenvoudig, maar verder prima. Personeel aardig, maar veel meer sporter dan service host in hotel. Allemaal geen probleem, als je het maar weet. Enige echte nadeel is geen airco en gebouw wordt snel warm.

Vid ankomst följde personal med och visade rummet, väldigt fin service. På frukosten fylldes det dessvärre inte på med det som tog slut, t ex smör och apelsinjuice. Helt okej frukost, ganska mycket att välja på men ingen varm mat.
Rummet var litet men vi skulle bara sova där en natt så det var okej ändå.

Rent og pent.
Vi var tre personer som delte rom (mor, far og 10 år gammel sønn), og det var litt upraktisk at den øvre køyesenga var sammenslått, da avstanden fra den og ned til senga der sønnen min skulle sove ble i minste laget.
Det burde også vært mørkleggingsgardin på rommet - det ble veldig lyst med en gang sola stod opp (og vi var der i juli 2025, så da stod den opp tidlig)..
Ellers må jeg si jeg ble veldig positivt overrasket. Et rent, pent og praktisk rom innen 25 minutters kjøring fra ferjeleiet i Hirtshals.
Frokostbuffeten var liten, men delikat, og falt i smak hos oss alle. (Dessverre var eplejuicen gjæret..)
Stort pluss for tilgang til treningsrom, bordtennis og fussball 👍 Flotte tur- og sykkelstier i området er det også + fotballbaner og lekeplasser. Og i 2026 skal svømmehallen med spafasiliteter også stå klar - det blir topp!
Alt i alt et fint sted å overnatte en natt på vei hjem fra Danmark.
