This hotel is really a restaurant. The owners treat it like their own home and think nothing of sitting underneath your bedroom window until nearly midnight talking and laughing. One night when the restaurant was closed we asked if we could speak to them as we needed them to move to another part of the terrace and they refused, The terrace and other outside areas were empty at this time. We are in our late 70s and had to travel the next day.

We have been coming to this hotel for many years. It is a perfect location for us to stop over on our way to and from South West France. Always a warm welcome, crisp clean bedding, a good restaurant and a lovely village to walk around. The restaurant is the icing on the cake, good value and exquisitely presented food. Although I do miss their escalope de veau which has not been on the menu for a few years. A very good selection of wine and other beverages. We also stayed here when we visited Futuroscope, very close by and golf at Les Forges. Perfect!

Travelling down through France, with a very young family, I rang this hotel at 10.30pm to ask for a family room for that night. Arriving at midnight the staff went out of their way to welcome us and provide everything we might need despite it being past their normal closing time (the facility to use a key safe for room access had been made). A wonderful waitress made us feel so welcome, offering a cot, kettle, tea bags etc. Our beds in Le Clovis were crisp, fresh, very comfortable and the shower was piping hot. Breakfast was in the bar Whilst perhaps not luxurious, this hotel was perfect for a one or even two night stop. The little town was charming with a lovely river and we woke to a pretty view across the square. It was like stepping back in time. I recommend this hotel unreservedly and thank them for their kindness

On peut être débordé , faire le plein des chambres et c’est tant mieux , ça n’est pas pour autant que l’accueil téléphonique comme physique doive être expéditif et peu aimable ! Les chambres sont vieillottes propres et silencieuses . Étions 2 personnes , chambre triple affectée par défaut selon les dispos ( pour mémoire resa en mars pour août ) ……qui nous est facturée au moment du départ . Faute rejetée à la caisse sur le collègue ayant établi la réservation par téléphone : assez peu confraternel ! Erreur corrigée secondairement . N’avons pas testé le restaurant mais aurions apprécié d’ avoir en terrasse un choix de thé plus large qu’un sachet Lipton

Hotel un peu vieillot. Petit déjeuner assez moyen mais personnel agréable et tarif modéré viennent contrebalancer ces petits défauts. Terrasse assez bruyante le soir et la chambre 7 donnant sur cette terrasse on bénéficie également de l.odeur des cigarettes des fumeurs.

"Un écrin de verdure " peut-être " ou le calme règne "....mensonge ! Surtout pour la chambre 10 qui donne directement sur la terrasse du bar à l'entrée de l'hôtel : bruits de chaises qu'on rentre le soir et qu'on sort le matin,... Ce fut infernal !!! A éviter

Étape hôtel restaurant Vouillé pour Journée au Futuroscope en famille à recommander sans hésitation Avec nos 3 petits enfants, Hôtel très propre Chambre familiale avec 3 enfants confortable Propriétaires et personnel très attentifs. et le restaurant de qualité ! Et le Top l’office du tourisme propose la visite de Vouillé avec une rando énigme ce qui a ravi nos 3 enfants ! Adresse à recommander Rapport qualité prix imbattable !

Hier op terug reis naar huis overnacht. Prima hotel. Ruime kamer. Alleen hadden we bad op de kamer zonder douchewand. Het werd dus beetje een overstroming tijdens het douchen in het bad. Kamers in bijgebouw in leuke jaren 70/80 stijl. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Prima peijs.
