Myrkdalen Resort Hotel

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Perfect for skiing, especially amongst family and friends. Many of the guests travelled up from nearby Bergen, they clearly appreciated everything this hotel has to offer too. Highly recommended.
Store Ringheim Hotel og Restaurant

Very high-end hotel with a sense of life, the hotel is a farm change. It has a sense of history. I can see the cattle and sheep grazing leisurely outside the window of my room, and hear the sound of the lambs chasing each other. The hotel is on an uphill slope with great views. The hotel restaurant is even better. It is recommended to try it. In North America, it must be a Michelin restaurant. The flowers are fragrant all over the summer, and reading on the bench is very pleasant.
Stalheim Hotel

Hotel location is just fine! Breakfast is not bad, the hotel rooms in Norway are not big, but still relatively clean. The hotel's parking lot needs to take five or six minutes. It needs to be paid for on the machine. It is a parking lot without manual guard. It just happened to be raining on the day, a little inconvenient, the hotel service is very good, the front hall and the breakfast room. Small MM service is very good!
Park Hotel Vossevangen

It was awful and not worth the money. Not worth a 4 star rating! We call this in Dutch: gone glory. It probably had its days, but has been neglected and needs a very high investment to get it back on track. Let me share our experience with you: The arrival (hospitality): When arriving we entered the hotel. It all looked nice in the lobby. There were no people at the reception except for two staff members. These teo guys were behind a single computer together. We were waiting at the desk, with two heavy bags on our back. After 10 minutes waiting (and another person entering the queue) I decided to take my heavy backpack off. Then he asked me if he could help me. It was quite rude. But that’s not it…… We got our cards and went to the room. The stairwell looks like that of a hostel. You know, the one you pay 25 Euros or dollars per night for, where you went to when you were 17-18 years old. The windows were utterly filthy (like in your dorm). And when I entered the room, the electricity circuit was the same as it probably was in 1961. I would declare it to be unsafe if I were a fireman. I know a hairdryer qualifies for points to get stars, but….. does it have to be hanging in the area of the wardrobe? In this case yes! Because there is no electricity available in the bathroom (or anywhere close to a mirror). So we charged our iPhones, but needed to take the lamps out first. No other piints of electricity. The bathroom; It has white tiles, a shower curtain, a shower head dating from the nineties. My student dorm was way more luxurious. There were black hairs on the floor (since I have long blond hair, they couldn’t have been instantly mine). The ceiling is made of glassfiber wall wallpaper, which probably was necessary to hide the fungus, due to bad ventilation. And be able to paint over and over again. Then there's the balcony. The doors probably have been painted in the early 2000’s for the last time. And when looking at the view, it’s like going back to east Germany before the wall fell. But then with a nice lake and beautifull mountains to fill the view. I booked this hotel on our way back to get some rest, and make sure we would travel back home fit and well rested. Well……… The neighbours on the right were trying to maximize the beats per minute they could generate together by bouncing the bed very agressively to the wall for some reason, and enjoyed making funny noises, one usually hears when wat hung nature movies. The neighbours on the left found it the right time to start a heavy debate, don’t know what about, but it lasted for hours. The neighbours above really liked doing some chair moving aerobics. They probably needed to achieve their Fitbit goal on steps needed, to met their target. Well, at around mid ight, the hotel went quiet. Check out: When we checked out, I gave my cards to the receptionist. She said: thank you and have a nice day. I asked my son:”what didn’t she ask, what is usually being asked when you check ou
Fleischer's Hotel

This hotel would have been rather grand in days gone by and still has an old world feel, which creates a nice atmosphere. For this area it is well situated. being close to the station has its advantages, but clearly there will be some noise. Our room was almost on the platform and we did hear the trains in the night but there weren't many and it wasn't too bad. The room itself was clean, comfortable, roomy and seemed to be individually furnished and decorated. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant, and the bar was a very ambient place to have a drink, certainly they did an excellent negroni. They had a bad hair day on dinner service our first night as they had more walk-ins than expected for the number of staff they had on but the next night was back to normal efficiency. The food was very good, and when we asked if they could do cheese instead of the dessert we got an attractive and substantial serving. Breakfast was fine.

This Scandi Hotel in Voss is right next to the Voss train station, no more than 30 meters away. The location is very convenient, and it is convenient for trains to Oslo or Bergen. The hotel rooms are relatively spacious and warm compared to other hotels in Europe. The hotel breakfast is also very rich, and it is highly recommended.
