Hotel Garda is an opportunity to be in the heart of history. The foundation of the building is nothing more than the remains of the defensive Blind Tower of the Kremlin, erected by Tsar Ivan the Terrible, that have survived to our contemporaries. The restorers preserved as much of the antique elements as possible in the interiors. And in one of the rooms on the first floor, a section of the stone foundation of the Vologda Kremlin tower is demonstrated.
Antique masonry helps protect guests from external noise. Respect for the centuries-old history of the building and the modern transience of time became the basis of the hotel's interior design.
A real gift for history buffs will be the opportunity to get acquainted with authentic engravings of the 17th and 19th centuries.
An important component of design is lighting. Brass lamps refer to antiquity and create an atmosphere for a comfortable stay.
Historical brickwork, stucco, forged railings based on ancient sketches and marble are organically combined with natural wood furniture. Anatomical hypoallergenic mattresses in the rooms are very comfortable.Show More
