Attended last night for a meal in restaurant. Superb atmosphere and excellent service. Menu was very good, staff extremely helpful. I speak fluent German but all the staff wanted to exercise their English. Trout was most certainly fresh, watched the Chef catch and despatch its mortal coil, and serve up 15 minutes later

Forsthaus is in a very peaceful, tranquil location. Everything is done to make guests welcome without being overly fussy. I’ve noticed a few changes/modernisation since my last visit some 16 years ago but the essential character remains unchanged. I used to come here frequently during my motorcycling years and was very happy to see Christian again. The menu has changed but is still excellent, the authentic Spanish tapas really must be tried…. Nothing to dislike, the Forsthaus really is a very special place….

We got a free room upgrade so thats awesome. Perfect location for bikers. Good food and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious with fresh bread and eggs. You can also park your bike under a roof with camers security.

Nous étions un groupe de 15 personnes en demi-pension pour 3 jours. Nous avons été totalement satisfaits de cet hôtel. Accueil agréable (en français), chambre tout à fait correcte et excellents repas le soir. Il nous reste maintenant un excellent souvenir de notre séjour à l' Hôtel Restaurant Forsthaus de Volkesfeld.

Die Gastgeber sind hier unglaublich freundlich. Es ist ein familiengeführtes Hotel, man spürt die Gastlichkeit und ein herzliches Willkommen. Das Essen ist wunderbar, nicht nur das Frühstück, sondern auch das Angebot in der Gaststätte. ***!!! Die Lage des Hotels ist idyllisch! Die idyllische Lage im Tal, das Wasser an der Wiese, das Wildgehege, die Pferdekoppel und die süßen Zicklein laden nicht nur uns zum Vergessen und Träumen ein, es fühlen sich auch die Insekten wohl. Deshalb ein Tipp (war aber kein Makel!), vielleicht in der Blockhütte ein Fenster mit Fliegengitter versehen, damit man in warmen Nächten besser Lüften kann.

Wir haben das Forsthaus als Basisstation für Motorradtouren gewählt. Die Lage ist Ideal. Das Frühstück gut und reichlich, das Abendessen ebenso. Das Personal und der Chef sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Gute Küche mit hervorragenden Calamaris. Service freundlich und schnell. Preise in der Breite etwas zu hoch. Zu Ostern gab es nur eine Karte. Am äußerlichen Eindruck des Lokals könnte man mehr draus machen. Wirkt alles in allem nicht besonders einladend.

Sympathisch,ehrlich,Preise angemessen. Tolle Lage. Einfach klasse. Sympathischer Chef. Super Essen. Touren Vorschläge einwandfrei . Preise absolut angemessen. Man merkt dem Chef an dass er ein begeisterter Biker ist. Klasse. Nur zu empfehlen.
