It's a nice hotel in a great location (10 min stroll to lovely town centre), with a few areas that let it down. It's clean, but carpets really should go. Great weather, so needed the aircon on overnight but then needed a cover. a king size bed with a double duvet cover isn't ideal. Basic toiletries in room (no shower cap, shampoo, etc). Paid extra for a sea view, which was 90% obscured by huge trees, 10% of sea view visible when looking hard to the left! Safe is small. No pool towels! I emailed ahead to ask this, unhelpful response telling me to ring the hotel. No parasols! You have to choose between sunbeds in strong sun or in total shade under the trees. Sunbeds in the sun were mostly taken / reserved. Parasols would be really great. Breakfast was fab with amazing views. Had a couple of lunches at the hotel bar, food very good. had a couple of milkshakes (cherry and hazelnut) which tasted of just milk. No decaff coffee available at breakfast. but I had taken my own. Worse thing? We had a late flight home, 22:30.. no shower available once you've checked out at 10:00 (the in-room guide said 11:00, and we were told off!). This is really unacceptable. Everyone needs a shower after hanging around all day. I would return but a disappointing sea view option, they do need parasols, and they need shower availability before you head for the airport.

Do your best to book different accommodation. The hotel is packed with small children banging and screaming, rooms are unclean ( to say the least ) and outdated. The carpets are appalling ( stained and damaged, JFC remove them or at least deep clean them ), and the whole complex is due for a thorough renovation. The poolside toilet overflows almost every other day ( it is right next to the buffet restaurant and might pose a high health risk ). Sounproofing in rooms DOES NOT EXIST, you can hear literally everything. The entire staff tries terribly hard to compensate for all this, but it is obvious that they are at the end of their wits. To conclude...just don't

Very poor quality hotel, would say at the most a 2 star, no way is it 4 star. The facilities are basic, there were stains on carpets, stains on chairs in reception area and in the outside bar area; mould in the shower area. We were breakfast and dinner, very limited choice, buffet sat outside, uncovered. Regularly ran out of items at breakfast. Vodice is nice but would not recommend this hotel.

We travelled here for a week in September, and after reading the reviews, i nearly changed hotels as they were dreadful, but I'm so glad we didn't. The hotel is very tired inside with some dreadful stains on the corridor carpets, but once inside the rooms, they were kept clean with nice modern bathrooms. Breakfast is served a short walk away with breathtaking views and an excellent choice to cover every taste. I personally loved the pancakes. The hotel is in an excellent position with a short walk into vodice for evening meals. There is also an excellent bar for drinks and bar snacks.

This hotel complex is in an attractive location on the seafront and only a five minute walk into the pretty town of Vodice. The bar and pool areas are pleasing to the eye. However, the two residential blocks give off a university campus student accommodation vibe. This student vibe is strengthened on entering the building and then your room. It's rather small and Spartan to say the least with tired carpeting (why carpet?). The balcony is actually rather spacious with a sea view and the balcony door can also be adapted as a window to allow fresh air in (which is nice in September). The bathroom facilities are fine although you have to go on a hunt for the cleaner's trolley to get any body gels or shampoo. Storage was ok and wifi good. There is a rather old fashioned safe but no coffee/tea making facilities. The bed was a bit firm but ok and it was very quiet at night allowing for a decent sleep. The restaurant at night continues the student accommodation feel with basic furnishings and fluorescent tube lighting although that feel is softened when they open the sea facing doors on to the bar patio. Breakfast was very good with nothing being allowed to run out and there are two coffee vendor machines for espresso and cappuccinos. The evening buffet meal choices were good with the open kitchen allowing the chefs to refill or top up food over the counter. Fish choices were particularly good. The wines were good but you need to ask for a large glass or you end up with about two sips worth. Vodice is obviously a thriving tourist town with loads of restaurants and gift shops, and being September it had, for us, a bit of an end of season feel about it The promenade from the town runs along the sea front to the hotel and on past other hotels and apartments. It appears that a third block is being constructed alongside the existing blocks. Perhaps this new accommodation will be less sparse and a little more modern than its neighbours.

Small dirty rooms, no water supplied in rooms, No kettle. Required to make up your own bed on arrival. Wallpaper blistering, small TV hanging off the wall. Disgusting Accommodation all round. Buffet dinner dried up, sp called restaurant like a canteen. How on earth is this marketed as 4 star Accommodation ? Not up to 2 star rating

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We are staying at hotel Arausa which is advertised as a 4 star hotel. Upon arrival we were given a parking card to enter the private parking area and were told we needed to return the card because they don’t have enough cards for all of the guests. Basically every time we need access to our card we have to go through this whole complication of taking the card returning it immediately etc, etc… it is definitely not a 4 star service. However if that was the only issue, I wouldn’t even complain. -The minibar was empty! We can order a minibar package to be delivered to our room but they do not give you a bottle opener with the package and there is no bottle opener in the room, so no way to open the delivered drinks. There is no coffee machine or electric kettle in the room and as per the house rules are strictly forbidden?! There is no cafe attached to the hotel. We have to walk across the campus to get a cup of coffee or tea! -The food is horrible. Chicken dry and tough without flavor (I posted a short video of me cutting it) fish falling apart (advertised as sea bream and clearly a less expensive hake) and most of the buffet is either 5 types of pasta and/or leftovers from yesterday’s lunch and dinner Re-Done (honestly, its like eating camp food). Breakfast is somewhat better but the eggs are cold (the buffet is never covered for any of the meals so everything gets cold), juice is from a fountain and is very watered down (like IKEA’s fountain drinks). Coffee is from a machine that has powdered milk, so I went to the bar to PAY for real coffee and that coffee was not much better. The restaurant is not clean. The chairs are stained, it is obvious that the buffet bar was painted several years ago and is now peeling. We sat next to a window and the windowsill was full of dead gnats. -The rooms are worn, furniture scratched, wallpaper peeling off the walls, ceiling cracked. About the Wellness Center: I went to reserve a time slot for a massage for my husband and myself. The woman at reception at the wellness center said that they only have one masseuse on duty per shift (for then entire Punta complex 3 villas and one hotel?) the reservation sheet was with the masseuse on the beach so she could not sign me up? Basically, I the guest needed to walk down to the beach to sign up. So I went to beach around 1:30pm. The tent has very torn up curtains and the masseuse informed me that she couldn’t sign me up then since she was in the middle of a massage. I would need to come back at 3:00pm… at this point I just gave up on the idea of massages. If their masseuses were as good as their organization, I didn’t want to waste any more of our money… This evening at dinner the hostess let us who were waiting into the dining area 10 minutes early and the waitress met us at the entrance and began yelling: “Who let THEM in? When some of the guests told her that the hostess had let us in, she began yelling from the dining area thr

Whoever from Jet2 rated this so called hotel four star obviously has not stayed here. Basic 3 star. Get your staff back to stay here and do a proper review and stop misleading customers. Rooms small, offering bed, table and one chair. Average wardrobe space. Small fridge. Small balcony with 2 chairs and table. Sea view, just, trees block out view. Bathroom adequate and good shower, no bath. Air con ok. Real contention was the carpets, corridors and bedroom, so many stains, not sure if sun cream, drinks or something else! Did not feel safe walking on carpets without footwear. Very unhygienic. Hotel should either invest in a proper carpet cleaner or replace with tiles. Disgusting looking at the stains every time we entered hotel. Spoke to other guests who had the same concerns. Hotel reception tiny with one staff member on duty. Often seen queues forming outside. Hotel staff pleasant enough but not overly customer centric. Sun-beds, after 1030am good luck finding any. Noticed at night still glasses, full ashtrays next to beds. Pool ok. Wifi good. Directly outside complex next to sea, lots of spaces for sunbathing. Most people just lie on towels. Vendor has sun beds on offer. Not sure what the charge is? We went half board. Buffet style. Open air venue, breakfast and dinner basic but food was fine, apart from cooked meats, the number of flies on the cooked meats was concerning as a health risk and the meats should really be kept in closed containers. Absolutely no staff checking which hotel guests should be eating here. Any stranger passing by can have free breakfast or dinner. Never been to a hotel that does not check validly of guests to eat there. Overall extremely disappointed by Jet2, we feel as though we have been mis-sold the holiday. Would not return and could not recommend.

Do not believe the negative reviews below, I have no idea where they were staying but it wasn’t where we were. We stayed here for two weeks and couldn’t fault the hotel, the service or the staff. We were in Villa Aranusa and had a sea view although had only booked for a side view. Our room was serviced every day by lovely smiling staff and also give clean towels daily even though we hadn’t requested them. The breakfast buffet was superb, it had absolutely everything you wanted or needed and was quickly replenished if necessary. Whilst we didn’t sit by the pool, there were plenty of Sun beds, and, yes, occasionally, you had to put a towel on one but most definitely not at 6.30 am, there were plenty at 10am and even when we went out and came back later in the afternoon. The bar staff were so lovely and friendly and catered for our needs, soon getting to know our favourite tipple! Vodice is a lovely small town with plenty of delicious restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and we will be back!
