This is really a beautifully located hotel! Within the forest: 's evening a bit of walking to the Iron Rhine, and a wild pig seen. Prima wellness, with swimming pool and sauna! The room was spacious enough, bathroom idem, the soap dispenser did not well, unfortunately, because good shower stuff. The restaurant: clear , compact map. Good quality food. The staff should explain something more, for example, with the cheeses, and when I asked the superintendent for a new glass for the red wine, he first checked whether the glass was really used 😉, I think inexperience. The reception is already the good start. The staff is mega friendly. The room or suite - class! Modern, large, fully equipped. All great. Also complete kitchen furnished is there. Good that we had the beds too soft ....is viewing matter. The drinks at the bar were amazingly good! The Gin Tonic wouldn't have got a bar better. Breakfast ....eh ....ja .... Youth hostel! Lovely and special hotel in city centre (converted monastery) with friendly staff and very clean rooms! Prices are a bit high for overall experience, current charged tourist tax by hotel is way higher than it really is [charged 5,- pppn, it really is 2,35 pppn), hotel could try to put you in a comfort room when a superior room is booked. Parking is too expensive, 5 walking minutes out of the ccity centre you park for free (Sittard is a small town). Buffet breakfast is too expensive for what it actually is, The bathrooms are mostly open plan.

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!

This hotel is quite complicated. First of all, this house has to cross the road, but when it was found that there was no front desk, the waiter at the hotel next door knew that the hotel reception desk at the entrance of the train station was the same boss. Of course, breakfast is also eaten in the hotel next to the train station. The room I lived in was also very interesting. We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Mooie grote hotelkamer met prachtige badkamer en heerlijk zitje. Goede bedden. Receptie bevindt zich op 100 meter van het hotel van de hotelkamers. Daar is ook 's ochtends het ontbijt. Het ontbijt was zeer goed. Prima Wifi en heel stil. Op 200 meter lopen bevindt zich het standje aan de Maasplassen en daar heeft het hotel ook een eigen beachclub. Hotel ligt op prachtige locatie. Vanuit hotel zijn de plassen overigens niet te zien. Hotel is beslist een enorme aanrader. Wij hebben er in ieder geval een heerlijk verblijf gehad, Minpunten: We waren er op een snikhete dag en de kamers waren wel heel warm. Geen airco. Het was veel te warm om buiten te zitten (geen schaduw). Parkeerplaats was vol toen wij aankwamen, niet met hotelgasten maar met strandgangers.

A group of six of us stayed at the Maashof hotel on what was the last night of a 10 day motorcycle tour and it was also my birthday. I had carefully chosen the hotel in the hope that we would have a lovely stay and dinner in a beautiful lakeside location. Unfortunately there were several issues which cast a significant shadow over my birthday celebrations and ruined our stay. The problems started when checking in when they overcharged two of my friends and they would have overcharged another friend and myself, had I not noticed and intervened. I had booked four single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room and there was an administrative issue between *********** and the hotel which caused confusion over how many guests were staying in each room, despite the hotel having the names of the six guests against each booked room. All of us were asked when checking in how many guests were staying in each room, but despite this two friends were charged the double occupancy room rate and one friend was charged for two half board dinners despite them all being in rooms on their own. In addition, they also attempted to overcharge us for the half board option despite me accepting a special offer online which had been emailed to me prior to arrival. We then had a further major issue. Three of the rooms were directly underneath the kitchen and hotel entrance and were extremely noisy until very late in the evening and again the next morning starting around 5.30am which meant several of us had a very disturbed night. Two of my friends complained at the time and agreed with the duty manager that they would have the full cost of their room refunded, as he was unable to offer them an alternative room. He advised them that if we had wanted better, quieter rooms we should have booked directly with the hotel rather than through *********** and he told my friend to email the Reservations Manager regarding the refund. The hotel management have admitted that the rooms we stayed in are very noisy, but there was no mention of this when we booked and they still charged the full room rate. On our return to the UK, I emailed the Reservations Manager and following many exchanges she offered a 25% refund for the three rooms most affected by the noise, despite the duty manager’s earlier promise of a full refund. Personally I thought this paltry offer did not provide sufficient remuneration for the problems we encountered but I felt I had no choice but to accept. I subsequently provided my bank details in an email but the refund was not forthcoming. I chased regularly by email as to why the refund was taking so long only to be told cross-border, cross-currency bank transfers take a long time and ”it will arrive within a few days” and then “as soon as possible”. Despite these repeated assurances it took 3 weeks for me to receive the refund and only then after several more emails including to the hotel General Manager who at one point decided to attack my pe
