Excellent property with patio and manicured gardens. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Excellent spa accessory services.
Breakfast definitely needs improvement given the quality of the products offered by the area compared to industrial ones

I read a few reviews raving about service. In our case, in early July, it really depended on who was providing service. The front desk was not very helpful at all... they would answer questions, but never give an alternative. However, the food serving staff were wonderful and bent over backwards to provide the best. My examples of bad service by the office: • check in - no offer to carry luggage in, provide cart etc. • Paid for the 'food plan', and was never advised that it's the same menu every night (make sure you like fish) • Two days in a row the pool bar either did not open or opened late. The front desk never gave an option on what do to for a drink... in fact was told that there is nothing served unless it's meal time. Meanwhile, serving staff were more than happy to offer alternatives and provide. • You're on your own to open those large umbrellas... some people struggled to get them open. • Sign in our room said "Enjoy our robe and slippers". We only had slippers in the room. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told you don't get robes. I would not go back

Absolutely lovely. Quiet- only 20 rooms all off a large central court. Peaceful. Staff very attentive to guests. Huge room- actually a suite with a bedroom and living room. Wonderful food , parklike setting. Close to all attractions. Highly recommend without hesitation.

What a fabulous find and a great start to our holiday. We stayed overnight on our way to Lake Bolsena. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The rooms all face the courtyard where the restaurant is located. We enjoyed a delicious meal at their restaurant and were delighted they were able to cater for my husband who is vegan. It was wonderful to sit in the courtyard for both dinner and breakfast. We even managed a game of table tennis before leaving.

Situated down a country road, a couple of miles west of Viterbo. We didn't really make full use of the resort facilities - the swimming pool was still under covers (too early in the year), and we were too interested in sight-seeing to bother with the nearby thermal spa, so I can only really comment on the place as a hotel. Our room was nice, with a big, comfortable bed. All the normal facilities, though sadly no tea/coffee maker. The rooms enclose a nice courtyard, though it was a little too cold to sit out at night during our visit (but there are large comfortable sofas in the adjacent bar). The restaurant looks nice on their website, and the menu interesting, but sadly the food doesn't live up to the billing. The evening we ate there, my fish starter and main (scallops and monkfish) were overcooked and tough. Sound insulation in the rooms is not brilliant - our room (no.23) adjoined the restaurant function room, and a wedding party there came through loud and clear until quite late. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bad management. I had asked to be able to move the reservation (knowing I couldn't cancel) because I had a family member in a coma and on the verge of dying. Even though I was a customer, I received a negative response and charged me the cost of the room. Very bad

I don't think it's worthy of calling itself a 4-star resort or hotel. It calls itself the spa, but at the reception they are not informed about reservations or opening times of the cave. Heating in the room without the possibility of independent regulation, cold during the day and sauna-like at night. Internal bathroom without windows and extractor. The booking confirmation does not specify how many courses we are entitled to consume. Good restaurant, sufficient breakfast, professional waiters. I don't think we will be back.
