Excellent hotel. The triple room was very big. The breakfast was good. It is in the best area of Täsch, in front of the station. They had the room ready and as we went earlier, at 12 o clock , they did the check in without problem. So we had the rest of the day to enjoy.

We would highly recommend the hospitality, customer service and food at this hotel in Tasch. Travelling from Australia, we were extremely impressed with the customer service provided by Martin in the restaurant.

We stayed here for 2 nights due to a tour. Great hotel, no excessive luxury. Right across from the train station to take the train to Zermatt. Room is ok in size. Breakfast and dinner were fine. Extremely nice staff by the way. Used the sauna (wonderful). No air conditioning but arco😉.

It is located in Tach, in front of the train station that takes you to Zermatt (15 minutes). The hotel is very rustic, but it is clean and suitable for a short stay. Our group had dinner at the hotel and the food served was very good, as was the breakfast, which did not have much variety but everything was of excellent quality. And the place is beautiful. Waking up and looking at Matheron is priceless. There is a supermarket attached and other stores. Since it is included in the package, I cannot evaluate the cost/benefit.

After a terrible meal at the Matterhorn Inn, a hotel next door, we went for dessert in the very nice restaurant at the City Hotel. We tasted an excellent homemade Tiramisu served with a smile despite the late hour. A big thank you to the City Hotel for putting us back in a good mood after the painful experience at its neighbor’s!!

Ideal solution for going to Zermatt afterwards. Magnificent, friendly, welcoming hotel. The 3-bed room is super nice so go there with your eyes closed and enjoy an excellent breakfast in the basement

Clean hotel. Great room. Good bed and bathroom linen. Great coffee. It is 12 minutes by train from Zermatt. It is opposite the train station. Close to 3 markets. Friendly and pleasant staff. There is a fireplace every night at reception. A charm.

Hotel very central, 2 minutes from Täsch train station, from which trains to Zermatt leave every 20 minutes. The drive there only takes 10 minutes. The staff at Hotel City is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is rich including eggs, sausage, cheese etc. The dinner with half board is very fine with 4 courses. The south-facing rooms with balconies are quiet despite the hotel's central location. Next to the hotel you can easily shop in the Coop and Migros.
