Charming and delicious and friendly! Chef Benedict is wonderful as is all the staff here. It’s a charming, off the beaten path place that is minimalist environment. If you want a bed to rest your head, good food at the restaurant and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place.

Beautiful clean room and extremely welcoming and polite staff. Rooms are big and the beds are comfortable, kattle and mini bare are available but also any special dietary options are available on request. We enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the hospitality of our host

We very much enjoyed our restful stay at Las Orquideas. We booked the double 2 bed room with lake, mountain, and pool view and - wow! We were very pleased with the size of the room as well as the views. The beds were super comfortable, enjoying a bath in the claw tub was a very nice touch. Everything was very clean and the microwave came in handy when we wanted to enjoy leftovers from a nearby restaurant. But what made the stay truly amazing was the service provided by the hostess, Mar who's kind smile and cheerful personality was such a delight! We enjoyed breakfast in the main room and then sat on the large balcony drinking tea. The hotel is at the top of the mountain with a windy trail so not a drive for the faint-hearted but well worth the visit especially if you want to disconnect and relax.

This is by far, the lovliest holiday we have ever had. The hotel is just beautiful. Only 7 rooms and all different sizes and levels of quirkiness. Very quiet village so maybe not for those wishing to head out for the night. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Always a hello, how are you, do you need anything. We cannot wait to go back. Views from the balcony are superb. To our knowledge there is no public transport so you would need to hire a car or taxi. Wonderful restaurant in El Charcco down the hill. Food superb. A supermarket and a bar/restaurant up the hill a bit. The pool area is just enough. Not too big or lots of noise. If you enjoy a bit of peace, relaxing and a place to just chill and read, you will love it. Thank you to Mar and colleagues for a wonderful 2 weeks.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, cereal, ham, cheese, bacon and eggs. The staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was first class. The hotel is in a small village with stunning views of the lake. When visiting this hotel we would recommend that you book a meal at the Venta El Charco which is about 10 minute walk. Beautiful food, friendly staff. We believe it to be closed on a Monday and Tuesday.

Wonderful hotel n small village amazing views from the room balcony,really lovely staff & owner exceptional clean rooms beach towels provided,beautiful quirky room very comfortable bed lovely quite pool had it to ourselves for 3 days, this hotel has only 7 rooms so always quiet.lovely breakfast tapas bar 2 minute walk very friendly ,& really lovely restaurant 15 minute walk must give it a try beautiful.roads bit scary till you get used to them, would definitely go back.

I and my husband stayed for two nights, the room and very nice decoration, comfortable and with a retro bathtub that I loved, I used it and it was very relaxing. Incredible views, to the lake and the hills. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff. The fridge full of any drink, also other things to snack if we had the need with correct prices. We would repeat. Thank you very much
