This place is well past it’s sell by date. While the rooms with ocean view are very nice, the breakfast is miserable and the service on the bar is terrible. Imagine having no Sauvignon Blanc in Chile. The corniche location. Is a nightmare as the road is essentially a motorway.

Superb stay at Oceanic Hotel directly hanging over the Pacific Ocean. Incredible views and sounds from the spacious and modern rooms and common areas. Thank you so much to all the hotel's staff that made every effort to make our stay such a memorable occasion. Special thanks to Benjamin from the concierges desk, who took care of every little detail in advance to ensure our full enjoyment with no worries at all. We can't wait to be back.

We found the Hotel Oceanic back in 2007; loved it and decided that we would go back, again. Well, our opinion has not changed. The location is fantastic with great views of the ocean and of the night lights of Vina del Mar. The rooms are large and comfortable and the sound of the ocean waves, right outside our windows, are like ambient noise for us. Even though they had to be cautious, due to the pandemic, their breakfasts were very enjoyable -- served either in your room or in the dining area. As far as price, a tremendous value for the money. This is a boutique hotel that is worth staying at anytime you are in Vina del Mar.

This is not a 4 star hotel. The condition of the rooms and overall facility would reflect more of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Our window shade was broken and would not open. It was noisy on a busy street and difficult to sleep. You could easily hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. The rooms are basic and without frill. They want to serve you breakfast in your room, but the rooms are tiny and do not have tables. I later discovered this is because the dining room is small and can not accommodate all of the guests. We asked to eat in the finish room, as did two other groups of guests but the tables were not cleaned when we went down there. The breakfast has instant powdered coffee — NOT something a 4 star hotel should ever do. To check out, we had to wait for housekeeping to “check the room” and make sure you didn’t take anything from the minibar. A 4 star hotel should trust their guests and let you have an automatic and speedy checkout. On the positive side, the pool is nice and the view of the sea is beautiful. Cost was 99 USD. Not worth the price.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, I totally recommend it. Beautiful views and above all very comfortable. I didn't like the treatment of the receptionist very much but after that, everything is perfect. I adored him

Me and my girlfriend was visiting here for my birthday. My girlfriend booked the hotel via *********** and the description of the rooms was really confusing. She texted the hotel several times in advance to make sure we had the right room but when we arrived there was a mixup anyhow. We got to change rooms the second night but there was a lot of hustle before we could make this happen. The staff was not so eager to help us very much, we really needed to push to get service. The view from the junior suite was we had last night was beautiful though, and this room was also much nicer and cleaner.

We loved our 5-night stay at Hotel Oceanic. We had a large balcony room with a view directly over the ocean with Vina del Mar and Valparaiso to the left, with no road or path to interrupt the panorama – such a treat! The staff were helpful, attentive and professional. We enjoyed the breakfasts and facilities such as the heated outdoor swimming pool. The location is perfect, between Renaca and Vin Del Mar and we commuted between these by Uber. The price was incredible value for a room with a balcony on the ocean. The compromise is that the hotel is a little worn in places compared with a bland new hotel, but it is very characterful, clean and well maintained. We will definitely return. Andrew McKenzie

Our stay at the Hotel Oceanic was quite pleasant. We were very pleased to find that the pool was comfortably heated. The staff made sure our every need was accommodated for and the owner checked in with us daily. At first the location seemed a bit isolated but Renaca Beach was just a short twenty minute walk away. Hotel Oceanic did a great job making sure my family was comfortable and well attended to. The service was top notch. Whatever we needed, they made it happen. Good service is their priority and they delivered. Don’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Oceanic.
