This hotel is located in a popular eating district, it can be noisy during the day, but as a traveller that don't stay indoors all day it didn't bother me just that the noise starts somewhat early in the morning. At the time I stayed there was road works that made noise more a problem. The staff are friendly and they provide a simple breakfast for guests, that is ok to start the morning with.Its close to the metro if you want to ex[plore Valparaiso and a short walk to the ****** that leads to a nice walk next to the beach ( about 10 mins to the ******) The Bus terminal from Santiago is also close by and its not far to walk, about 1 k (about a 10 minute walk)

The hotel is centrally located and this is the only positive. You pay upfront at the consierge and you expect the room to have at least the bare minimum but when you walk into the room you you realise is not meeting the minimum hygiene standards. The next morning I found out that the toilet was not even flushing and that the shower was broken. The breakfast is poor to the point that I preferred to leave straight away and have breakfast somewhere decent. Avoid this place folks, you can get better for the same price

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! We reserved 18 nights there and after transferring 100% of the total, the owner, Rafael, claims he did not receive the $1,500 Canadian dollars and proceeded by blocking me on Whatssap and not answering my phone calls.

I stayed at this hotel on my first visit to the region, in 2002. It is still there, and its longevity is a guarantee that it remains very popular. Just with the outside sign saying "New Asturias". At the time there was a nightclub right below, which did not provide for a peaceful sleep, but it is no longer there. Very central location, continues to offer the same service over the years.

It's an excellent place. Very central. Close to the Viña Plaza, the bus terminal, and the flower clock. The rooms are very clean, as are the beds and linens. I recommend it 100%. And the host cats they have are the best.
