I had booked a stay for the 11th. Unfortunately my bus changed timings on me- and it became very late. I arrived on the 12th at 7am. I arrived at the hotel and asked to check in. The front desk said only at 3pm. Being extremely sleep deprived and confused- i then asked if i could at least leave my luggage in the store room. He acquiesced. When i came out of the store room, i asked again if I could check in with the paper work, he did not understand me. I thought i might be wrong as i was too tired to think straight. I sat in the lounge for 2 hours until it was bright enough to venture out. When i returned and asked to check in, this time the front desk said I booked the wrong day. Overall, when I asked if there was anything that could be done, they stated that I would need to pay for a new stay. (Which as I was leaving again that day, no point.) i then asked if they could recommend a restaurant for dinner. The front desk said he wasn’t from the city and couldn’t help. Unbelievable. All I saw of my stay was the lounge.

Everything looks rundown and shabby inspite the new carpet in the hallways. The most beautiful part of the hotel is elevators and the stairs. The price I've paid, in my opinion, was too high for the pretty much Sparta-style stay.. The bathroom was dingy from top to bottom. I had a decent breakfast and really enjoyed capuchino. As per location, it was really easy to get to the train station and the airport.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The reception service needs improvement plenty of guest are checking in and only one person is there during peak hour while there are two on duty at night time. The facility need major renovation, the corridor seems so dark, the door of the other room will be heard when they close or open it. The room is also dark for it only have light near the door, no lights on the ceiling only side lamps. No outlet in the bedside and it is so damn hot in the room there is one electric fan abd even if you request for another one they will not give. I called the reception and they said go down there to get the fan but when we go down they said they will look for it. Until the day we check out they did not provide. We have no choice but to open the window even if it too noisy outside. When asked if there is a room with aircon she proudly said they don't have. I asked for a hypo allergnic rm and they did not provide. The beddings are even in the reverse side. Water in the toilet is always hot.Towels are nit that white. No minibar in the rm, no complimentary coffee or tea not to mention that this is a hotel not a hostel. The are hostels with complimentary coffee or tea. There is kettel but no cups. Breakfast ends at 10 but they will keep it as early as 9am. Most of the guest that we have meet in lobby have the same sentiments.

The hotel located just across the train station and McDonald’s. Very good spot if you are taking a train. However, this hotel is not as nice as other for similar price in the central/old town area. The room is quite dated but ok as a budget hotel. But be aware on a hot summer night you’ll be frying as there’s no air conditioning. I left all window open and still was all sweaty at night. The bathroom has plenty of mold stains. To end on a positive note, the included breakfast is quite ok.

My recent stay at Panorama hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location, nestled conveniently between the railway and bus stations, made it a prime spot for travelers like myself. The breakfast was nothing short of amazing, scoring a solid 10/10 for its quality and variety. However, there were a few disappointments. Despite booking a room with a double bed for solo occupancy, my request was overlooked. The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, with noticeable stains on the carpet and table desk, as well as dirty windows. The TV was also notably small, resembling more of a screen in a car or PC monitor. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this hotel for short-term stays. While there are improvements to be made in terms of cleanliness and amenities, the overall experience was satisfactory for a brief visit. With some adjustments, this hotel has the potential to provide a more pleasant stay for future guests.

I will never ever come to the Baltic countries again for this and many more other reasons. I'm not from any country in which Russian is native language and I don't like to use it but if I in a country in which I know one of it's native languages - I use. I have used Russian in Lithuania because it would take more time for explaining what I'm saying to personnel if I spoke English. Speaking Russian caused that staff in breakfast room accepted me antagonistically (if they knew my political stance and what I did...). Huh! But I know the Baltic countries don't dare to boycott Russian-speaking because they have profit from them dominantly.
