Positives: 1. The beach and sea were amazing 2. The staff especially Laura (Reception) and Angar (Restaurant) couldn't have been more helpful and friendly 3. Breakfast was really good with a wide selection Areas for improvement: 1. The location of our room was at the back of the hotel next to the staff area which was noisy 2. The room was very basic and outdated 3. There was not a lot to do in the evening and the entertainment was in Italian 4. The "Quiet" pool was in fact a younger children's pool, which for a family with an older child meant it was difficult to swim in

The room (suite/apartment) was modern and comfortable, with good air conditioning, quality beds, beautiful gardens, and an excellent beach with very comfortable sun loungers. However, the service fell far short of what is expected for the price paid: no one helped with luggage upon arrival or departure, even though the room was far, with stairs and gravel to cross; the staff were mostly young and untrained, although a few were friendly; music at breakfast and from the Kids Club was far too loud and poorly chosen (audible even on the beach); checkout was slow and disorganized; there was no control over food and drink charges, as no signatures were required; the so-called “courtesy room” was just a hot, noisy, and not very clean bathroom under the pool; and there was no mosquito protection in the room. Great location and facilities, but the service and attention to detail do not match the level and price advertised.

Excellent hotel and restaurant with a great beach. There was enough beach furniture for all the guests. Our only complaint would be that the bed was a bit too hard for our liking, but that's an individual thing right!. Other than the bed id give this hotel a 5 star.

We had a lovely 9 night stay at the Cormoran 27th-5th, flying with British Airways air-miles. The hotel is very peaceful and you are never left waiting for service or attention. Beach is really beautiful and some of the clearest water I have seen in the world. The pools are clean and warm and also pleasantly quiet. A wonderful experience for us and our 2 girls. I would happily recommend.

The Cormoran is a superb family resort, fantastic private beach, awesome bungalow unit, lovely gardens. Breakfast was of a high quality with excellent colourful cappuccinos and very friendly staff. The beach restaurant could be better in terms of service and the Sardinian theme dinner was a bit disappointing. Beach had lots of space, allocated beds were nice. Villasimius is easy to reach by car, we had dinner there a few times to see the town. Perhaps a playground for bigger children would be great.

We went to the Cormoran and Sardinia for the first time this summer and had an outstanding time. The location of the hotel is outstanding and our children aged 8 could run between the pool and beach safely. The staff were second to none - superb service and nothing was too much for anyone. A big call out to the kids club team and the life guards who were around and helpful all day. Thank you to Carola and Enrique who dealt with our childrens fussy food habits and just made everything work really well for our family. Will be back and thank you to the Cormoran team - fab people, location and hotel - we will be back.
