You can combine Tuscan living with the opportunity to visit the main towns of this so celebrated region: Lucca, Florence, Siena, Pisa and many other places so wealthy of history and art. And than you can reach the Mediterranean sea and explore the famous 5 Terre on board of a sailboat, from a very unique point of view.The villa is located into a small village between Lucca and Pisa. The position is centrally located for excursions to the more famous towns in Tuscany but also to the sea with its long sandy beaches. The local area is lush and green and nature is characterized by olive groves, vineyards and woods. In the small authentic villages, it feels as if time has stood still. The villa has a pleasant and nice furnished veranda with barbecue, from here you have views of the countryside and the 2000 m2 large enclosed garden. Here you will find the 6 x 12 meter swimming pool with a variable depth of 1.20 to 1.40 mt. The pool is completely private is kept open from May to October. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.The house is on four floors and has been restored with great care to preserve the original details. Although the house is equipped with all modern comforts. It consists of:Spacious living room with sofa and satellite tv / stereo, dining room with fireplace. A couple of steps leads up to a large well equipped kitchen with access to the garden (gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer, American coffee maker), a bathroom with shower, a storage room with washing machine and ironing equipment. Just like in a safari, we are going to drive around our district to explore small hamlets, villages, historical landmarks, castle ruins and artistic jewels such as the “pievi” that normally get unnoticed by travelers taking “different” roads.We can also drive through off-road trails to admire the local flora and fauna and visit the breathtaking canyon of ‘Orrido Di Botri’ where it is possible to have the rare opportunity to see the eagle in its natural habitat. You can access the canyon overcoming big rocks partly on foot or by wading through chest high deep pools of crystal water for a couple of hours to complete the whole track. Helmets will be provided at the entrance.
