The Chateau is charming...what you imagine a wealthy family in France would own. We stayed in the Pai Chai room which had an upper bedroom and all the amenities you need. In the morning, they delivered pastries for our breakfast (you select them in advance) and we enjoyed the morning sun. They also have an onsite restaurant which we dined at for dinner (limited nights)...which offered a cozy, cave-like atmosphere. Everything you needed was at hand and the staff was excellent. If in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to return.

If you want to get away from it all for peace & tranquility/ this authentic ancient Chateau is for you. Marlyn is a delight and her team are really helpful. We had a room for 2 people with a lovely outdoor space to sit. It was really large downstairs / smaller upstairs. The stone steps up to the bedroom are steep and uneven / so this room is adult only ( PaiChi) Downstairs has great space and is beautifully presented. The apartment room is very well equipped. Order the bread to the room it is the best option & lovely & fresh. This is a great service. We eat dinner ( 2 nights) which was very good : very well presented and pleasantly served ( lovely staff) We had a little issue and Marlyn and her team did their best to solve and are very keen that guests have a great stay. Marlyn is certainly invested. She gave great local tips and we enjoyed these. Thank you Marlyn & team.

We stayed in Chateau de Villarlong (Suite: Peyrepertuse) in France on May 22 - May 26, 2024 (University re-union). It is a beautiful place: the Chateau itself, huge land plot with a lots of plants/greenery, fantastic pool with a great view, great food and service. Leisure activities that will make any trip unforgettable for Friends and Family. Owners and management team did a great job. Thanks for such a friendly and welcoming environment.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation with delicious breakfast and dinner options on site. Marlin was welcoming and warm and super helpful with suggestions for activities. This was an ideal break away to relax and recharge with our young family. Plenty of facilities on site for children. Close proximity to the airport. A car is a must but the scenery is beautiful

If you want to stay somewhere magical, this is the place. The attention to detail is superb. This is a beautiful chateau in a stunning location, an easy drive away from Carcassonne. Our apartment was simply beautiful and the bed super comfy. Grounds and pool just idyllic. The restaurant serves delicious wine and food! Marlin was a really excellent host, and extremely helpful as are her staff. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect ( especially Marlin and Danii). Love this place. We will be back and we’ll be recommending to everyone!.

If you want to stay somewhere magical with a special touch of home, this is the place. Attention to detail is superb. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. We stayed in the Queribus apartment and it was amazing (the view from the terrace is unbelievable). The infinity pool is perfect. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect ( especially Marlin and Danii). Love this place. We will be back.

For our first visit to the Villarlong restaurant we were happily surprised by the exquisite plates. We had scallops as a starter, perfectly cooked. Followed by fish filet. The portion are not minuscule at all, like in some other fine restaurants. The prices of the wine very acceptable.

Excellent food, menu was a delight. Great atmosphere and staff so friendly. Very highly recommended. Fois gras starter and Magret de Canard were delicious. An open wood fire gave a lovely warm ambiance. Looking forward to a return visit soon
