This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. And both times I’ll say the best part was not the clean and super chic modern bungalows (but they are amazing), and not the perfect location (not in town which was a little too busy/crazy but just far enough outside of town that it’s peaceful and quiet), but rather it’s the people who work there. So warm and welcoming and helpful. Always so helpful. A reservation or a suggestion, or complimentary champagne at the restaurant he reserved for us in town. Always so helpful. Arnoldo is just the best host.

Amazing service and personalized recommendations! Fantastic made to order breakfasts. Quiet, relaxing and beautiful. This property is Not ideal for children and is better suited for adults. The interior design is gorgeous. It is in the juggle and they embrace the natural beauty while offering a luxurious experience. The only really negative is that the water pressure in the shower is not adequate and the temperature doesn’t get hot enough. I would like the plunge pool fountains to run longer into the evening. Truly a wonderful destination.

What a hidden gem. You have a private pool. Arnold was the manager and took alsolutely great care of us. I went with my wife and the restaurants he recommended us was amazing. He takes great care of each and every customer. He speaks english very well. You feel like you are à vip when you are there. The staff is very polite and takes great care of everyone. 5 star. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet remote place to relax and enjoy.

Everything was amazing — everything. Arnold made sure we were taken care of and paid attention to every detail. Everyone at Epic followed suit. We had a private chef’s dinner which was one of the best meals we ever had and would have loved another one! Chef Mariela was AMAZING! Her food was always of the highest quality, super fresh and delicious. The property is kept pristine, the suites super clean. The passion and care and dedication of everyone here was reflected in every detail. It’s not surprising they made the Condé Nast Directors pick. We can’t say enough and plan to be back! Thank you Arnold and Chef Mariela for taking care of us so well!

Stop searching and book now. This place (the "Epic Boutique Hotel Tamarindo", Costa Rica) is an oasis, offering both family suites and couples (which each come with an individual small pool) there is a larger pool, and everyone can use. The breakfasts are delicious, made with love, each day offering a new Costa Rica inspired flavor (you can also request a traditional omelet, egg made your way and more). Arnold and the rest of the staff are fantastic, making sure your every need is met, restaurants recommended, offering favorite spots to visit, and more. Arnold set up a yoga instructor to come on site, it was wonderful. This spot is an oasis for those couples needing to reconnect, girl and guy friend get away, looking to sit at a bon fire and catch up, swim in the morning sun , families looking for a great spot away from the busy beaches, but close enough to be at flamingo or Tamarindo within a 10-20 min drive. Cannot say enough great things, this is boutique, catered experience, come see for yourselves ♥️💕😎

Amazing experience! Arnold and his team are the best!!! We really enjoyed the rooms and amazing breakfast each day. The beaches around the hotel are a 10-30 minute drive and very peaceful. Would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks again for an amazing vacation experience!

Epic tamarindo is undoubtedly a 5 star place. Arnold the general manager is the best host and he was really there for all of our needs. He booked us very nice restaurants and his recommandations for around the place were on point. I give this place 100% and would recommend to any friends. We’ll be back.

The service was absolutely amazing - Arnold went above and beyond, providing excellent recommendations for food and activities and helping with bookings/reservations. The property was beautiful and very relaxing. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The included breakfast was unique every day and delicious. Highly recommend!
