We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this little hostel. The cozy room under the roof was spacious and nicely decorated and the AC was nice and cold. Be sure to check out their restaurant downstairs for an excellent meal. Thank you, Dani, for being such a gracious host throughout our stay.

This is my second time staying at Micro-Hostal Puerta del Perdón and both times, I had a wonderful experience. I walked the Camino de Santiago so unfortunately, it was only for one night but wished I’d stayed longer. This is such a special place. Dani, the host and owner is hospitable and greets you with a warm welcome, I felt like family. The entire place is very clean and the rooms are full of charm and character. And the bed is extremely comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was simply divine. And the salad was so hearty that it could have easily been a meal all in itself. I can’t forget about the croquettes. They were the best I’ve tasted on and off the Camino. The staff were also fun and friendly. Thank you Dani for making me feel so welcomed and cared for. Until next time..

We spent the night here from walking on the Camino Santiago. We made the best decision to eat at the restaurant…. It was outstanding!!!! We had the asparagus salad to share and for the main, we ordered, pigs trotters and the Tataki. They were both sublime. I have not eaten such a tasty meal in a very long time. Dani, the host was a delight. He recommended a wine which was just what our palette was screaming for and he surprised us with a dessert (cheesecake & castañas cake) both desserts were heaven. A must if you are a foodie as I am.

Great host who runs a fantastic hostal, right as you enter the town. only 100 or so meters to the centre of town which allows some quietness where you stay. There are a couple of other places nearby that offer accom, food and drink Rooms are great. Private bathroom and it has a great restaurant incorporated.

This is a darling hostal. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. We had a view of the castle. We were given help on deciding where to go and what to do. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. There is a cute patio in the back where you can sit and meet others and have a glass of wine. They permitted us to drop our packs early so that we could walk the town before check in. The ambiance and friendly people here truly made it worth the stay. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent hotel run by the affable attentive Danni who made our 2 night stopover truly enjoyable and helped us recuperate from days of trekking. We stayed in the historic music themed roomed which included great views of the castle and outside surrounding historic sights. Dining was a pleasant experience a well cooked dish of cod in the company of friendly pilgrims

The property has been beautifully restored to a high spec. Our room and bathroom were well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. Nothing is too much trouble for the proprietor Danny who was very attentive. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Danny was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond expectations. Breakfast was good and the fresh baked cake was delicious. Danny helped us with our laundry, arranging a taxi and supplying me with ice and muscle cream for my injury. Thank you very much! Barb
