SCAM ALERT!! Beware of their overcharging for a meal!!! We went here for supper with our family (4 of us) and ordered the Red snapper dinner. The menu read 750 DP (but we didn’t see the LB sign, which means it was per pound.) The guys went to pick out which type of fish. Nobody weighed it (first mistake), so when we got our bill, they charged us 950 per lb and wrote down that between us we had 7 lbs of fish!! No way Jose! So in total we ended up (with the 18% tax added) at 8460. DP! That’s $200. Canadian for fish and chips, or $50. per person! One person had a coke, and the other 3 had pineapple juice. Stay away! When we tried to talk about it, nobody spoke English. Never again. They may have thought we were all tourists but our family lives there, and will NEVER take anyone there again! You will loose in the longrun folks. What a shame. It was our first restaurant experience in DR. Not a good way to begin our holidays.

Friendly place. I turned up quite early, they had a bungalow available and checked me in early. The three bungalows are basically on the beach (set a little back), huge and well appointed. Faultless. The beach itself, whilst not spectacular by DR standards, has a natural beauty and is empty other than for guests and day-visitors to the property. It has some seaweed and rocks however is kept free of rubbish. Restaurant prices are high ish for DR however portions are generous and the quality super. I was stopping for one night on the way to Samana however if you want a peaceful stay on the beach it's certainly worth longer.

Beautiful wild place at the end of a track giving access to a private beach, a restaurant and three wooden bungalows - very pleasantly furnished - be careful: never come on the weekend... if you are looking for total calm because if you have the bad luck to come across a neighbor who came to party...that's what happened to us

Rustic but comfortable bungalow. Don't expect luxury. Away from it all. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast served on the terrace. Beautiful beach cleaned regularly. The dogs are friendly. The cuisine is quality (paella with small lobsters and large shrimps/seafood soup/fish soup/various pastas) and of course cocktails. Fairly quiet location, perhaps less so on weekends.
